Nah, Frankie's part of the syndicate with Jackie Bird, Princess Anne, David Quantick and Renee Simonot who put in their shared team each Hogmanay. Oh shit, not meant to give these secrets out...

Bou liked one of my Facebook posts 2 days ago so shes OK. Well, maybe OK is stretching it for liking one of my jokes...

Queen Victoria actually died on the Isle of Wight, which is as about as far from Balmoral as you can possible get in the UK.

Well, there should be at least one more hit in 2020, as mind one of the long standing quirks of DL: "Never 11 hits without a 12th..."

Cricket Thread. Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen

Reminds me of Balbir Singh. Keep active and healthy into his 90s so survived the original heart problems which would have killed normal folk, but the damage was too much and neither was able to fully recover. -
Thanks to Willz for posting the masterlist so I can remember what my team actually is... Writing, taking as read the names we all know by now - which is pretty much all of them, Bullet Bob is a dull wrestler but should get a QO as he is in the WWE HoF and also because his son Brian was one of the most popular wrestlers of the 90s. Michael Cullen is the former Deputy PM of New Zealand, I believe his health problems have been mentioned on the forum before but he's a real "will they see the 2020 DDP name?" right now. Ditto Stuart Wheeler, who helped fund David Cameron's election and the Brexit campaign, but is now gravely ill with cancer. Meghwal I nabbed off one of Drols lists of Asian Politicians in Comas. Lone Dybkjaer (Danish MP plus wife of the former Prime Minister, sort of Danish Cherie Blair if she won a seat) has been told her treatment doesn't work so if she sees 2021 it'll be an impressive feat. As for Everett McGill, who you might recall from Licence to Kill where he plays the FBI agent who double crosses Bond/Felix and works for the drug lord. Then gets eaten by a shark. Saw him show up in something or other recent and thought "Man, he looks like shit". So he's my annual Acting Punt in Willz's Poker Game, of which iirc I have a surprisingly strong success rate with. 11. msc 01. John Lewis (US Civil Rights) - K Hearts 02. Aye, feel the DDP Cmme's pain here...
-
In a non-DL way I knew of Banali, Draper (not directly by name but I remember the Lobbygate scandal), the other Ratzinger lad and Bullet Bob. Of the rest, some are Cup fodder but a fair few seem to be note-worthies I just haven't heard of - I don't really remember Indian politicians unless Drol has mentioned them seven million times. And even then...

Can confirm via a query to DWM that Trevor Ray died in December 2019. So the Doctor Who Guide is correct.

A few names I got through on the "some bastard was allowed them last year so I expect to be allowed them" leeway, but Ratzinger I always assumed was notable enough. Helps to remember more religious members of the family moaning about the "Ratzinger brothers" well before one of them became Pope!

Posting at 5 mins to midnight for the win!

So does he count if we got our team subs in yesterday?g

Rome Newsroom, Jul 1, 2020 / 04:30 am MT (CNA).- Benedict XVI’s older brother Georg Ratzinger died Wednesday, just a little more than one week after the pope emeritus' visit. Msgr. Georg Ratzinger died in Bavaria at the age of 96 on July 1. Catholic News Agency with the date confirmation. Fastest Poker start ever, @YoungWillz? ANd you ninja'd me while I was typing but here's the confirmation anyway.

And its at this point I twig the Jamie Farr of MASH folk were talking about this week isn't Radar.

Looking forward to seeing who I forgot!

Did you see him on Mastermind at Christmas? I thought "what the fuck is HE doing there?" (Bez). And he started getting asked questions about Bees, and he had this look on his face like "what the fuck am I doing here?" Still managed to not finish last place.

I predict the grim reaper is going to be 'like a super strong enema 'in 2020

Folk in bold should start getting worried, and maybe Nobby too. -

I've just remembered Rule 40002, "if one of the finalists doesn't turn up, msc gets the spot." De Fault here I come...

Mother of Brie and Nikki Bella (wrestlers turned reality TV stars) Kathy Laurinaitis undergoing brain surgery after a mass found on her brain stem. Watch this space...

I didn't pick Tom Smith for the Poker game which has probably condemned him.

Still going with August 30th. You'll see...
-
He was still acting a few months ago so I think it was. As for Fawlty Towers, there's many stories of him being delighted but bemused to still be getting regular royalty payments off that one episode 30+ years later.

Wonderful AND a sad bastard. Useful combo at times.
