Oh arse. I mean, good luck! I'd say "may the best team win" but screw that, I want to win instead.
-
Which allowed me probably my greatest post to date. Although given TCD, Joey posted it, so he got all the likes!
-
My team is in but frankly it and my entire research game sucks right now so congratulations to @Sir Creep on his inevitable April victory.
-
Coronavirus has got it goin' on? Blimey, he's 52 now?
-
I can't remember a Cup round where five of the ties could change on one death this late in the month.
-
Very drol! My blood pressure's been far better since I stopped watching the news, Newsnight, Question Time, etc etc.
-
Although the lack of daily updates did mean I was a bit surprised to see it killed 3500 people worldwide yesterday. I knew it was bad, I didn't realise it had got that bad. It's now killed more people in the US than the September 11 attacks, and they've already overtaken Iran which was meant to be one of the worst hit countries.

There's a few folk I think who will get "wait, they died?" belated QOs once the worst of coronavirus passes. Harris is one of those names.

True. Also he apparently was able to move from ICU to a normal ward, which is hopefully a good sign. You may like or dislike the guys politics, but he is a hell of a talented writer for kids.

3rd Cup cert to die today. My team are falling to pieces. Gulf actor Suleiman Al-Yasseen dies aged 71 from brain hemorrhage. -
Steve Priest "recovering" but moved into a facility - which suggests some sort of severe stroke to me.
-
Hah most of my prospective team died this week by the feel of it. Meanwhile Sir Creep is somewhere about to reach for his phone: "Hello, Hospice Owner in Louisiana, this is Sir Creep. Yes, I am fine thanks. OK, who got the last rites this weekend? Thank you, I'm noting them down. Me? No I'm facing msc. Hahah yes, very droll, it is like a bye. Right, thanks for the team, 30 points guaranteed. Oh yes, certainly, give an autographed Sir Creep photo to any of my team who want one."

It'd be a shame if I knew him best as a kid for Silence of the Hams (he's actually good in it though, one of the few), and being the substitute Riddler, but luckily we got Eerie Indiana and hes great in that too. Although now I am stunned to learn on imdb there was only 19 episodes of that filmed, and he was in 5 of them!

Did anyone else see this new post in this thread and get their hopes up momentarily?
-
Well, it could be worse. In 2018, I was playing Deadsox, who was at that point undefeated in Cup play. The match had 1 point in it, and then late in the month games designer Bernie de Koven died. He had been on my previous months team, and after rushing to check my points...I suddenly remembered I had dropped the guy from my team. Went out by 1 point. Deadsox made the Semifinals.

I humbly apologise to An Fear Beag if they now lose 4-0 to a single Frank Ifield death in April...
-
He's had an action filled life, that one.
-
If this guy has died, and the obits are now coming in, well, first, BOLLOCKS, he was one of my go to guys for April. But...I think this means Willz now has the record for latest lead switch in a month?
-
"Look at me not having heard of this person other people have heard of, how edgy am I?" posts are unedifying and crass regardless of who posts them, and are akin to those times DJL called any non-Oz Deathlist dull imo.

He's a singer songwriter of the Old Grey Whistle Test types, who is very popular with other singer songwriters.

And John Prine was already in dire health too as documented on here. (The link above didnt work)

Mrs msc has always been amused by the Belarussian football team name Dynamo Brest.

I do actually know a few folk who knew Charlie at various points. They all like him, but universally note he's not got the best common sense in the world and has a habit of doing daft things which piss people off. In other words, exactly how I'd have assumed from never having met him! Everyone seems to love the Queen however, apparently she'll chat with you on pretty much anything from last nights football to Doctor Who.

Scenes when they all get better and Willz advances thanks to Frank Ifield.

And with a tip of the hat to Mr Willz, the DDP front page has had an overdue update. Also, as for some reason the site autolinks to unfinished pages, you might note the start of a work on progress from the links maze at the top of the page - that being the long awaited DDP Archive... That's a long term project however.
