Can confirm I have Joey's team and will nick all the best picks look after it for purposes of the game. Although amusingly my Cup shortlist has 5 names so far - 4 on my DDP team, and 1 which Joey has too, which maybe tells me they aren't as sneaky off radar as I might have hoped!
-
Hah, yeah, Skinny Kiltrunner is the first Cup player in history to claw back an 8 point deficit in a tie. That tie is hard to call now.
-
When he gets a QO, I Will Not Die It's The World That Will End will be on 7/20 in the DDP by mid-February and joint 4th place, which must be a personal best.

Now there's an instantly recognisable TV face. Also part of the loudest laugh I've ever heard in a cinema. School class taken to see the 101 Dalmations live action film in the 90s, and his glare in the scene below got a roar of laughter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5-Mq2xcF7U (Oh, Youtube's not embedding again, but it is only a minute long...)

Turned it on, though it an obit for a minute! Straight from the son: "[Jimmy] is not great now, he gets looked after by mum and us, but he's still got his sense of humour."
-
How's the Telegraph suit you? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2020/02/17/pearl-carr-one-half-popular-1950s-singing-act-husband-teddy/

Pretty sure Vera Lynn is your answer to question one. And possibly question two, too.

Louis Nirenberg only just got a CBC obit on Saturday, so let's see if any of the QOs notice now. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilton/louis-nirenberg-hamilton-mathematician-1.5458111 LOTL/LOTM updated and in a "why did we never think of that before" - I've put a permanent link to the rules on the front page - with the link to submit new teams dead till December obviously - so folk can look over them as they always seem to want to do.

Damn, Recess was brilliant (one of those jokes for the kids and jokes for the adults watching the kids watching it series) and Davis had a big role in it.
-
Oh thats good to know!

Hah, looking back its a reply segue - Poseidon Adventure/the Dr Who Christmas special that blatantly ripped it off/Fenric who does the same of The Fog/Hal Holbrook still being alive - rather than him being in the film.
-
Yes, Gooseberry, I watch The Fog every Hallowe'en and am annually impressed by Hal Holbrook's continued survival. Now hopefully he doesn't follow the lead of Nicholas Parsons who played his role in the Dr Who homage/rip-off of The Fog, The Curse of Fenric!
-
Doctor Who was AMAZING tonight. Not said that for years.
-
Yes in 2019. Will update tomorrow as I can't be arsed looking for the log in password in a 50 page PM after a bottle of Jack Daniels and coke! No idea why the site would be barred for you. Work computer?
-
The swiftness with your replies to these things just makes PJ Hammond's ability to hide his Date of Birth all the more impressive!

Same original source as for her husband in 2018. (Pearl Carr for the search engine)

Pneumonia you aren't bedridden with, quite literally! (Although I have heard of it causing complications requiring emergency surgery before, but Elton likely has his monitored...)

Katie Price's autobiography (sic) now runs to 6 books, apparently. Teddy Roosevelt told his in one book.

msc replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Yeah, I genuinely put it on 5 Saturdays ago because everyone was talking about it and felt like a laugh. 30 mins later, "Who is that fucking hedgehog????" I'd genuinely not heard of Jason Manford before. At least Mrs msc was equally wrong on that one. She thought it was Alexander Armstrong! -

Only voters were the 100 or so in the crowd, apparently. You could kind of tell who was getting voted out by the songs they were given to sing. -

Not remember 2011 when Al Megrahi and Robin Gibb danced to the nations hearts? I mean, yeah, apparently it is.

Speaking of cursed TV shows, Benidorm's been fairly quiet for its survivors for a few years now.

Despite being hilariously out of touch with the young and reality TV, I had sort of heard of her - she won Strictly a few years back.
