His health was the biggest issue as he was seen as a canny operator in his prime and likely would have politiced a longer career in the top office if health and then Reaper hadn't come calling. And while Peel was to the left of Wellington, Wellington supported Catholic emancipation and Peel didn't (though he abstained on the votes). It's as if folk are multiple shades of grey rather than binary concepts or something. Although since we're going top trumps on pre-Disraeli/Gladstone PMs, a fun fact that is probably far better known than I think it is - Lord Melbourne's wife Lady Caroline is the same one who had the infamous affair with Lord Byron in the early parts of the 19th Century. A fact that might actually be more interesting than most of his actual Premiership.

Every United manager since Busby lives, no, despite Fergies best efforts? Forgot Dave Sexton. As you do.

Indeed, however, they only scored 1 try. England 25–28 Wales Try: May 27' c Con: Farrell (1/1) 29' Pen: Farrell (5/5) 12', 24', 44', 52', 69' Drop: Farrell 18' Report Try: G. Pretty sure a team has got 2 points for losing (4 tries, close lose) - looking it up, Wales did when they lost to Fiji in 2007. But somewhat rare! -

Mind England v Wales in 2015? Wales won 28-25, and got 4 points, but England got 1 point because the score was so close. Its usually a difference of 7 as in 1 try plus conversion. Tbh that's how I assumed you were running it until I suddenly wound up with 20 odd points! -

In rugby the losing side get the bonus point if they lose by less than 7. That could incorporated somehow? -

Camilla actually has one of the best reputations among the royals among people who actually meet them. Apparently quite down to earth, no airs or graces. She suffered in the press from not being Diana for years, but really, history has shown there were 4 (at least) people in that marriage on both sides and its really no one else's business. Obviously Libby's the most popular by far. Between her love of TV Science Fiction and football (and apparently boxing), the snippets of her politics which come out from time to time, and all the history she's witnessed, she must be fascinating to sit down and chat with, tbh. For unpopular royals, Andrew is the right twat with no self-awareness, even before his recent run of bad press. But all the ones that matter (Queenie, Philip, Charles, William/Kate, Harry, kids and Princess Anne) seem OK. Or unremarkable at least, like William! Charles will take the throne, he'll be shockingly uncontroversial and dull, he'll be King for about 5-10 years, then die of old age and pass the crown to a relatively middle aged William.

Georgia seemed to be an improving side last time out. So I'll go Wales v Georgia - Wales by 14. -

3 points for a penalty scored 5 points for a try, plus 2 if you convert the penalty you get for scoring one. So the score goes up by 3, 5, or 7 each gain. So yeah, a 4 point win is possible. In fact, I think all leads are possible (not a maths person). I just go by 5 because its the easiest rough scoreline. Later on when the big guns face off in the knockouts its more likely to be decided by 1-4 points at times. -

Happy with both teams! And if they could now lose to Scotland, I'll be even happier! -
Biggest DDP lead since some young whippersnapper in 2014 iirc. Wonder whatever happened to that guy.
-
All jokes about curses aside, if DI can't win the DDP from here...

My aunt is sadly now in rapidly failing health, and has no children, but I can confirm that she is still alive, as she is my aunt. As an example.

Yes, by sending a team into the AO pool too, DDT. Serious note - No idea how difficult that'd be to implement, and am mindful of TMIB's big grand point changing plans once hitting reality. As aiming not to give the data guys a nervous breakdown, not really intending to rock the boat.
-
The Drop 40 bonus will be staying, I'm pretty sure. I think it has been very useful in changing the DDP for the better, making teams more likely to go for name celebrities or politicians instead of the nefarious cancer mums. It makes older A listers more viable for everybody. Other opinions are available. EDIT - Hah, ninja DDP host. Afraid I *am* a fan of the Drop 40 bonus!
-
Ah yes, Ethnic Cleansing has fallen foul of the Curse of Finishing Runner Up in the DDP, I see.
-
TJS has got rid of the Glaswegian Pretender, and the Chorizo, and will now take a 4 point lead over Joey, I think? The joint lead was fun while it lasted.

Regardless of my thoughts of him as a player or person pre-illness, no one deserves the fate of MND/ALS. RIP.

I had him on my long list for so long I thought he was the guy in Terror of the Vervoids. I have only just twigged that was the character name (surely an injoke) and the actor is only just turned 60!
