Will hold the fort till an obit arises, although in the option of fairness (as this presumably wont sort out before the midnight cut off tonight for subs in play), I suggest you name a sub joker from your starting 11 just in case.

Sounds like the DJ died in May, @Spade_Cooley? California time stamp, 8 hours behind us so 31st May on Twitter.

I already know Spade and Clorox are putting in teams later tonight, and Banana tends to put in a team quite late to the deadline, and Bou is formulating a team, but... Right now at 15.53 on the 31st, @The Quim Reaper is winning the Cup by default! So here's his moment in the sun before elimination at midnight, short of a last minute shock or him actually getting mob connections to nobble the competition.

1. General Musharraf 2. Ivan Milat 3. Ani Yudhoyono 4. Michael Sleggs 5. Irving Kanarek

Makes me think how it'd go if the DDP ever got its own podcast, to disguise the innocent from ranter fire:

Will answer this on August 1st.

Indeed. However, there were three parties to send election leaflet through the door saying STOP BREXIT - Greens, SNP, Lib Dems. So while others might have voted for their views on climate change, its counted, just like that oft quoted shite about 80% of voters in 2017 backing leave (counting every single Labour voter). Nuance is out at the moment.

Very well liked man, known for his kindness and gentle demeanour.

Expelled from the Academy for sending his copy of Oscar nominated films to pirate uploaders!

Recent pic. Think she's a bit left in her yet, tbh.

If I make it to nearly 96, I want to be like Murray Walker, mentally aware enough to still write articles for The Times.

For an A-lister we ain't going to get many updates on Chirac now due to the advanced dementia, but here's his former Environment minister Roselyne Bachelot: "His healthy is faltering/shaky". Sounds ominous, he'll be playing hot behind the green door...

LFN really doesn't have a stellar standard going off how many of my crap jokes he's liked over the years! PS It'd be really churlish of me to point out that New Zealand aren't in the fucking Six Nations... Anyhow, I'm naturally gobsmacked to learn that someone with a Maggie Thatcher username and avatar might be on the right of the political spectrum...

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread

Those two things combined would be quite the achievement. Anyhow, this leadership race will run to Conference season, making it too late to have an election this side of October 31st imo. -
Yeah, Sydney directed and produced Porridge, Last of the Summer Wine, Some Mothers Do ave em, and Yes Minister, and won the TV BAFTA 4 times. Will piss obits everywhere.

In 2012, a Telegraph obit for Pola Illery gave a few team points. Only it turned out in 2014, this had been a hoax, and Illery actually died in 1993!

Thoughts and opinions on the death list 2019
msc replied to The Mad Hatter's topic in DeathList Forum
DL wont die. The first Jan 1st there's no new list an emergency forum meetup will produce an unofficial continuation. If the forums run out, theres enough of us to create a new one (cheap no frills). I don't foresee this being an issue anytime soon. DDP wont die. Already several folk - Grim, Clorox, Reptile,me to pick 4 - have been willing to create a sort of rolling Cmme type thing in place of the Sole Host. imo things what need one person can mostly be shared. What is needed is someone with the actual computing know how, and someone who can boss everyone else around. It's not an insoluble situation. Oh, and Spade not doing a TMIB and fucking off 5 seconds later in case his expertise is needed would be helpful too. Spade's List of to do per year Setting the game up entails: Writing up updated rules Sending out invitation, "game starts on January 1st" emails Responding to people to let them know their entries have been received Checking entries for duplicates/already dead people Entering entries into (currently a spreadsheet that has numerous possible places for error) Entering entries also involves adding new players to a separate database, along with updating running statistics Processing the game to generate the first full team lists/lists of celebrities Writing pen portraits/DoBs Finding pen pics - Do we need pics? Seems a waste of bandwidth? Running the game entails Checking to see who's dead -We can do this, and folk like Willz and Allen help. Updating (as it stands) spreadsheets and processing them Uploading the resulting HTML files to the site- I imagine this bit isn't as difficult if the earlier spreadsheeting has worked? Writing frontpage obits List of the Lost/Missed/News/Theme Team league stuff (all manual) Correcting errors Dealing with any other queries throughout the year And, although I've not had this yet, one of DDP's bains: emails from people included in the game asking to be taken down. All in bold is doable from the off. The spreadsheeting is the crux - beyond my know-how. @Sean, any good with Excel? I admit to being bossy, but I do know my own limits. I can do much of the bold easier fun jobs (puns, changing rules and telling ranters to fuck off) but the actual data entry bit, not a scooby. [And I tried to learn it for TCD but post-stroke brain not co-operative, even now - so it goes!] So... who on here does know Excel/spreadsheets? -

Yes, because they're in the Daily Mail, a QO.

So back in 1963, JFK had a bad day in Dallas, you might have heard, and Lyndon Johnson wound up sworn in as President. Three journalists were onboard Air Force One to witness the oath, and 2 are long dead. But one of them is ex-NBC News journo Sid Davis (b 1927) who is still alive! But has no Wiki. I found this out in a doc on the new Freeview Smithsonian channel - and they say TV isn't good for DP research. Thing on him from last year Biography Btw he looked frail as fuck talking about Jackie Kennedy, and is notable enough for any American obit accepting pool imo. Or Cup.
