Drol relies heavily on stats, not outlandish fantasy.

Of course, in that Nothing Like a Dame doc on the BBC (filmed earlier in 2018), Judi and Maggie both look and sound well for their ages. Eileen Atkins looks old now, but can still talk for Britain. Joan Plowright is apparently blind, and looked frailest of the four, but could reminisce about things from 70 years back - so likely in better shape than most folk about to turn 90. imo I'd be quite happy for all the British Dames of that lot (4 above plus Rigg, Sian Philip and Jean Marsh) to be "deadpool bedblockers" for many more year to come.

Don Lusk has just died. Does DI have a deal with the devil to kill a centenarian on every single December 30th?

Oh shit! Hang onto the ball, lads, keep it in the corner...

I think you'll find the Champ is in, and you'll have to grab the title from his cold dead hands, as dementia-ridden Heston once said. Nobody has retained the Deathrace, until 2019 naturally! Nah, I'm just happy to take part, I just felt like joining in the trash talking for LOLs.

Is there more than one deadpooling forum? Asking in case they have any certs I missed...

You'll see all 19 rejects on Jan 1st. Reason it wont be before then is very simple - its a chunk of my DDP shortlist!

Died just before Christmas.

Renny Lister, familiar TV face of the 1970s etc. And aye, when the guy with COPD is apparently looking after his missus...

Was listening to this interesting podcast about that period yesterday. Complete with Blanco interview after she became terminal.

Connection to Allen Bathurst - his step mum.

Alt Obits rule page It's very much a "they need to be famous" so think your notable American politicos (not the Oregon guy with cancer, too low level apparently), NFL stars and so on.

Cricket Thread. Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen

Hah yeah, but I was still thinking around the Fairlie level. Now very curious to see 12 Lords/8 ladies (etc) on Jan 1st too. (Admittedly, I look forward to everyones teams, and the DL 50. It's like Christmas Day for deadpoolers...) -
Folk who like failed pro-wrestlers from the early 00s might recall Test's T-shirt: He then proved this by topping himself in 2009...

Hey, I'll have you know Jim Kelly still sits on my longlist! And I certainly nabbed some of your early tips - LaTourette comes to mind.

Wow! Not her death, you picking her! -
Sign up for the Deathlist Cup starts on January 3rd. The draw for Round 1 is on 20th January, and team are sent in from 20th to 31st, with Round 1 starting as soon as February begins, basically. Anyone who hasn't entered the Cup before is more than welcome to join in the fun. EDIT - As are anyone who got banned from it once if they so wish...

Bob Hawke is certainly Deathlist material but may have left this information too late? Dunno when the Cmme meet. If its bad as they say they've got 2019 or a miss by sounds of it.

Yeah, I had one or two turned down that I went for on the basis of early scores in that same area.

60+ years as a top level entertainer (and most of that as a kids entertainer, which has a very short lifespan usually). Let's hope the only updates in this thread remain birthdays for a while yet.

This may sink like a stone, but fuck it, I'm ugly enough to deal with that. Right, every year around this time on (and earlier, and later), we get hundreds of posts about next years Deathlist top 50. Who should be dropped, who should be kept, who is a cert, etc etc. It's different from the "What do you think of the years list" because that's discussion after the fact, whereas this is all fantasy booking, for lack of a better term. Some of our own are keen to present entire lists of 50 names, listed out in great detail. Which are cool, but this clogs up numerous threads in the main Deathlist forum. So I suggest a "one size fits all thread" for all of those fantasy Deathlist booking bits. This. To start with the inevitable "Drop X" stuff, I'd say Javier de Cuellar. Boring pick. Very boring pick. But, he ain't going anywhere... Right, as you were.

I'd happily sacrifice huge chunks of British rock music before the Reaper got near Palin!
