Toast very sadly doesn't participate in the Cup yet.

This is worse than the first 10 times Tony Hart died!

If Super bloody Gran can get a thread when no one remembers if shes even alive, then surely one of our greatest living thespians can? Robert Hardy is the dean of British character actors. Best known for a long stint opposite Peter Davison (whom he mentored) in All Creatures Great and Small as vet Siegfried Farnon, he has also appeared in everything under the sun, except, peculiarly, Doctor Who. You might also recognise him from the Harry Potter films (Cornelius Fudge), and about nearly everything the BBC does with Churchill in it. He is now 90, is the type of person the Deathlist likes (think George Cole and Peter Sallis), and more pertinently, has began to sell off his beloved collection of antiques and historical items, which isn't something he'd do lightly. So whilst the Mail claims he is in good shape for 90, there's something causing him to downsize his most prized possessions. Besides, if Nicholas Parsons can get his own thread despite being the Healthiest Man in Britain...

It did, and he died, but doesn't appear to troubled any bigger press. -

Walking home from shops with the wean. Streets of Govan empty except for the Celtic fans getting ready for kick off. Walking down the street when suddenly, out of nowhere and very loudly, the fucking Coronation Street theme started playing! Presume one of the oldies (or Deathray) was watching an omnibus or something. -
Was the I-news (which I'd never heard of before this year tbh) taken off the DDP QO list quietly? Sure it was there a few months ago, but is gone now.
-
And surely some sort of Adam Adamant Dies pun is a tap in.
-
FFS. QO and all, now all we need to find out is that him and her relationship was a chaste one and I've been completely shown up here!

Aye, that Illinois tobacco, what's it like?

A wrestling podcast, which I mention solely to bring up that mid match discussion they made a gag about "Lawler needs to check the weather forecast from Tomasz Schafernaker", immediately causing me to do a double take and wonder if Deathray has been secretly running a wrestling podcast all this time.

I'm not in the game but I agree with gcreptile, TQR and Sir Creep.

That's a brilliant way to jinx a long life. Quick, to the cemetery!

This, because I found an unnamed copy on a custom CD from my uni days and was trying to track down which Conte track it was.

^ Aye but that sounds like exactly what we'd expect from fluffy liberals like LFN and charon. Yes, I was waiting for LFN to reply...

Top find, Spade. You know Big Davey Meltzer thinks the Hackenschmidt/Gotch series of matches were shoot (non-fans: real)? Despite all the evidence to the contrary, like when Hack said it was "designed" to make more money, or when at a press conference, he took down Gotch in a blind attack and then threw him into an orchestra pit. tbh I'm half convinced the only reason people think the Ancient Greek variation was legit is because we've lost the booking sheets after 2000 years.

See, I'd agree with you both, but... I have the vaguest memory of reading about it in the Daily Record (print version, their online stuff gets wiped after a few years) at the time, as it was when I was sans internet. Was the Record a QO at the time?

" Who doesn’t love Leeds United? Other than Brian Clough, Asian students, and literally everyone else on the planet. " In fairness to Carrington, he did actually warn Thatcher about the Falklands, but she ignored it. War comes, he resigns, she gets re-elected. Jammy bloody sod.

My "oh he was a cunt" reply has been made superfluous, so here it is in spirit. He was a cunt.

Oh right, when people were making Lorde trend on Twitter I thought they meant these guys:
-
"Oh well, Bernard Hepton's still alive, better pick him!" RIP forum reference Brilliant actor, unjustly forgotten from the Tinker Tailor generation of character actors.

Got to feel Khali will blow a hole through a good chunk of those within the next few years.

"Health concerns" (I looked up a cached version).

Gangrel (fat/drugs), Backlund (on general age), Rikishi (size/heart), or Bob Holly (general drug addict issues), I'd assume. I have now cursed The Godfather. 1988 - 4/20 gone (JYD, Warrior, Nikolai, Dino Bravo) - next - Jim Neidhart imo. 1992 - 8/30 gone (Bulldog, Von Erich, Hercules, Volkoff again, Piper, Bossman, Snuka, Macho Man) - next - how is Warlord still alive? 2001 - 3/30 gone (Brian Christopher, Crash, Test) - Honky Tonk Man. Also, weirdly 2008 is at 4/30 (Snuka and Piper, Viscera and Umaga) yet every Rumble from 2009 on is at 0/30 (0/40 for 2011) on dead wrestlers. Didn't think we'd ever see a decade of living Rumble competitors back in 2007-ish.

You know what you need in deadpooling? Timing. That's why Brickhouse Brown has a QO, due to dying on the same day as 2 far bigger stars. Had he died on literally any other day of this year, Joey wouldn't have a unique on the Elizabethan Deadpool. Yeah I googled it and assumed Chorizo had picked him for something. Oh well.

So, thread dies a death as soon as The Man condones it. DDT has learnt a new admin superpower today.
