Nye Bevan, apparently.

tbh when I heard about the Facebook thing I went directly to the "download your data" bit and found they'd kept some word docs I'd misplaced years ago. So 'mon Big Brother. Though the wankers could have told me at the time when I was bemoaning the loss.

Got the image in my head of someone downloading the entire internet onto a USB stick and doing a Control and F double click to look for "Peter Kay leukemia". Will be heavily disappointed if that's not the case now.

Would have made Endeavour a bit more interesting if you ask me.

Alf Ramsey, England manager in 1966. Think they won something or other but they've kept quiet about it since...

Apparently, I share a birthday with Eva Green, 50 Cent and George W Bush. Practically the new crazy gang, there.] Anyhow, not to set the bar too high, but looking at the other contenders, John Major might be the greatest living former Prime Minister...

I was being a sarky git, LB! Also, write something funny? Well, there's always a first time.

He's really getting into the spirit of this super-injunction about being dead.

First Doctor episode: vaguest memories of Fenric. Which had to be turned off as it was "upsetting the wean". Many years later, I had to do the same for World Enough and Time. Life, it's cyclical, you know! First film - at the cinema? I think this was also The Aristocats, on one of its many Muirend Cinema (much missed) repeats. Wasn't there a Honey I Shrunk the Kids film around the late 80s? That's another contender. First gig: Some no name Glasgow band in that place down Renfield Lane. I don't do gigs, being antisocial. I did once have tickets for Nerina Pallot but wound up in hospital instead, a life lesson learned there.

He's got a Sun obit too. Fucking hell. Thought he'd be one of the Serie A obsessed journos (James Richardson?) or bust on a quiet week, so didn't go for it.

Tbh, I can't remember either now! Very long day. Nearest Wilkos is Motherwell, alas.

Damn it, I was hoping for Goofy!

That's because most anything you cook yourself tastes better than shop stuff. Unless yer a shit cook of course. Even a "middle of the road but not poisoned anyone yet so calling it a success" like me notices the difference. Control the ingredients, timing, etc and what not.

Thought HMV had shut already. One in Glasgow I frequented was an empty shop last I passed by. Of course, FOPP get rid of the independents like Lost in Music, HMV gets rid of FOPP, online sales get rid of HMV. YWillz can add Tower Records somewhere into this mix. I know FOPP rose from the dead... Reminds me of What Everyone Wants (notes for Toast - What Every Woman Wants superstores, though they did change their name before I were born!) , which got sold to Philip Green and then shut. Now the old What Everyone Wants store on Argyle St is listed for demolition. Way of the world. Owners of the site "accidentally" let the building deteriorate. Anyhow, the biggest loss (bar the local small cinemas) was Woolworths. It's surprisingly difficult to get stamps, writing equipment, a few assorted bits and bobs and a low quality Pick n Mix all from the same store these days. Always something missing. Anyhow, I digress.

Known in some circles as Doctor Who's very own Felix Faure.

Or you can start a thread and watch it last 32 minutes before getting secretly purged.

timing. Thanks.

Rule 14 officially amended as of now.

Just picking a completely random thread to mention Dan Schneider has been axed by Nickelodeon.

Good thread. As one of the leading politicians in the 7th largest country in the world, and someone with a long history of ailments, she's certainly one to keep a closer eye on.

Who does that make Pete Best in this then? Hewlett?

"some deadpoolers are terrified that her cancer has returned. Hollywood Gossip journalists tracked down top DDP player Shaun of the Dead, who said: "Get in there, you fucking dancer!"" PS Hollywood Gossip journalists also tried to get a comment from Sir Creep, but he doesn't do so many interviews since his retirement from Club Nacional in 2015.

Looks better than John Bolton, for age, imo. Always struck me as a prime candidate to do a Jerome Rodale mid-TV interview one day.

Someone I didn't even add to my prospective April Cup team as I thought it a tad early.

The biggest money spinner since the Fab Four, this.
