    Derby Dead Pool 2018

Bloody hell, who knew I could actually call them right for once! So, the guy I thought was a gamble because he was well known in his field but not in the UK... winds up getting a QO because he does the marriage on death bed thing (which I had no foreknowledge of back in December). It's a crazy world at times. Now, RIP to him (no age at all, really) and damn that Here's Who You Could Have Won team for taking my unique, whoever they are.

    José José

Neither are dead yet, of course. Last years Cup was full of dead certs who just didn't die in that specific month. Errol Christie waited until the entire Cup was over, then died quite quickly afterwards, Van Zandvliet was a top pick in every round but only died during the final, and so on...

Ah but that means YWillz shares the same place as Death Impends! Winning!

Sorry, cross wires given Sir Creep was talking about needing a QO!

He was a unique pick for DDP veteran Finbarr, and the points are up on the scoreboard.

I can never keep track if you actually want to win your ties or not in the Cup. Hey, you never know what can happen in a month - after all, Grims team of ill folk is currently losing to a team of old people.

    Morgan Tsvangirai

Ah, Joey, he's got a whole decade of health scares to go before dropping dead one January. It's the Nkomo way.

    Quincy Jones

That's great. He did this one last week too, similarly full of "I don't give a shit now I'm 85" isms. Doesn't really speak much for Cosby if one of his closest friends is clearly convinced he's guilty, though.

However, on the plus side, you can get done for drunk driving if you are found to be over the limit while riding a horse, so not all the quirky laws are legends.

Actually, no. Spencer Perceval died in the House - assassination. But there was also an old Liberal guy around 1910 - I forget his name - who keeled over and died right as he was casting his vote! Just one of those urban legends, I'm afraid. As is, I'm pretty sure, the "death in the Commons = state funeral" thing.

Ah now, Sean, you know that Dennis's ideal road out of here would be to keel over in PMQs right after denouncing Tory cuts! Or she believes its a jinx to wish someone happy birthday before their actual birthday?

It was the title of the play in the US iirc? Anyhow, bloody good book. One of her best. And do you know what's annoying, as a fan? In her autobiography, she notes how it was one of her trickiest novels to plot out. Guess what one of her few novels for which none of her prep notes still exist is!

Christie herself suggested And Then There Were None as a suitable title, becoming uncomfortable with the Ten Little N's title very early on. (Especially as it takes away from the fact the one actual admitted racist in the book is portrayed as a monster.)

    Celebrity Pets

Maria Menounos is a US TV presenter. She's done a fair bit for the WWE (wrestling) but works for Access Hollywood or one of those type shows. Bit self-centred imo. Her mum is her mum, and has brain cancer. The dog was an innocent party in all of this, I'm pretty sure.

    Boxing Clever?

Well the hope is Nathanial May wins his world title eliminator in a few months time, and then gets a match with a champion and thus QO's care about him "doing it for his former trainer". There is some sort of method to the madness.
