Tbf anxiety as a medical term isn't "just worrying" or being a bit anxious like a normal person as Toast outlines. It's a medical condition, sometimes linked to stress or a terrible thing like PTSD or the like, where the body starts acting the fuck up physically without an obvious cause. Irregular heartbeats, uncontrollable dizzy spells, signs of shock and so on. Controllable with medication or therapy but... it's usually a sign of something else being wrong. Physically or mentally. I know someone who they later found out needed a pacemaker, for example, but it's not always heart related. Oh, and avoiding stimulants is usually best too, like coffee and what not.

Myself and Mrs Msc have only celebrated Valentine's Day once (she's not keen on it either). This was back at uni. Can't mind if it was the day itself or a few days before. Anyhow, the pub she'd chosen for a get together had a TV, which went from BBC weather reports into extended breaking news that actor Ian Richardson had died. Then her phone rang, it was my mum, and she got a long chat about Richardson from mum too! Anyhow, we went home and watched my House of Cards DVD. Somehow, she later married me.

Yeah, well I never mentioned the dying family friend in advance (though charon twigged quickly who it was), same as Toast never mentioned her pal.
