Right, I didn't want to steal YoungWillz's thunder, only to see he'd officially ended both pools while I was doing other things! The 2017 Hare's and Poker pools are finished, which means two things. Firstly, @Death Impends now leads for deadpool wins on this forum. Secondly, @Grim Up North can be added to the list of deadpool winners. Congrates to both!

I think 1 or 2 will turn out to be DI, and one is someone who is on verge of winning their first ever deadpool and appears to be Tigger with excitement.
-
Cool. I ignored Sean's 20/20, 50/50 etc because they seem more running games rather than deadpools with set start, end and outright winners, but that won fits.

Oh yes, apparently I "looked like a loon" doing the coin toss. And then her response last week when I told her my DDP team for 2018? "I've heard of over half of them, are you going mainstream now?"

Right that's the plot of the next book. Err, yes, very dark thought there. -

I didn't pay attention to the 2nd team, but I'd guess so! -

Actually, in the simulation I ran, Grim finished 2nd. This is the DDP simulation where I win, of course: not that fussed about other scenarios. -
Aha, I see the intent here: to put Spade in the looney bin, and thus prevent him winning the DDP in 2020! It's a plot twist worthy of Christie...

If you finish 1st and 2nd (or near enough) in the DDP, I will personally shake your hand. For shake hand, read "press the like button on one of your posts". -
Cancerous Hatred 1 and 2 had 15 identical picks. There was no controversy. There is none. Asking the host to spot Drop 40 picks ahead of time is added and unnecessary work. There is no need to overthink things.

Or people in general could stop taking it all so seriously? It's just a bit of fun, after all. Quite specifically not referring to Gcreptile's thread here, stats and stuff is a bit of fun imo. -
Sympathies, incidentally.

I'm not really that bothered, tbh? Last year had Cancerous Hatred's 1, 2 and Cancerous hatred the force awakens... -

Well, next one is due next year - 63 UP - and one of the kids has died since. Not Neil, think he's a minor Lib Dem councillor now? -
Aye, I know it was strongly rumoured, but then so is the Queen's abdication in the Australian press going off this website!

Yes, she's done an interview with the Mail. 85 now, but not much of note on health grounds. Denies the affair rumours, and I actually believe her, purely because, from the little I know of this thread's main topic, I can't imagine any woman admitting an affair with Harold to Mary in private and to still be breathing 40+ years later.
-
The I is a source though, which is the Independent, afaik? I'm a little confused on that one, though.

I think he was the Morocco manager in 89 when they just needed to win 2 matches to qualify for a playoff for Italy 1990, and failed to win both, missing out by 2 points. If so, some folk are just destined not to make the World Cup!

Good news for former Emmerdale star Leah Bracknell as she marries her partner while battling lung cancer The 54-year-old actress and her author boyfriend Jez Hughes, 44, married in March after discovering her treatment had stopped working. I'll be honest here. The Mirror seems to have a different definition of "good news" to me.

Only 70? For some reason I thought she was in her 80s, which stopped me considering too long for the DDP iirc.
