The twist will be when you accidentally put a bunch of them on the Drop 40 for others.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis

Does anything here help? -
Am I? LOL. Ok, then. You're in. I'll open a new thread in a week or so, once new Deathlist/DDP excitement dies down a bit.

Trump is 71 until June. Just saying.

2006 was Lou Rawls too, who announced he was dying at Christmas. Helpful chap. 2004 ends the sequence with JP2 though.

I was thinking Bush Sr jumps to top spot. But I have never guessed this correctly.

Another list has come in and it has changed everything! (I might be overselling a tad...)

The forum has had its say on Stiles in The Crowdsourced Deathlist and the result may surprise you later! Hows that for a Buzzfeed-esque tease.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death
msc replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
A good way to find Zorders posts. -
Also if you want a laugh at old me, I was getting so bogged down in the number crunching I found myself with 2 Robert Mugabes, so had to double count his points AND check I hadn't accidentally deleted anyone. No to both, I'd just not deleted an earlier Mugabe when more points came in. Told my wife about this problem. She smirked and said: "You must be out of it if you're miscounting the number of Mugabes in the world, dear."

I have added all the lists that were sitting in my inbox this morning AND the two which arrived this afternoon. We're now at 38 lists sent in for the 2018 Crowdsourced Deathlist. Blimey! 1. 216 2. 208 3. 201 4. 50th 198 --- 5. 196 6. 195 7. 194 8. 189 9. 188 10. 186 11. 178 12. 175 13. 171 The battle ground as it looks. I think 46th and higher is likely safe this late in the day, and below...60th is unlikely to move. However, there has been two late late comebacks. One won't surprise you all this past week. We have 3 celebs who have crashed through the 1000 point barrier! And 10 people have beaten the previous all time points record. I think that's quite cool, myself.

I was thinking about making a post like this in the Stats thread but this saves me the effort! Interesting to see 2016 nearly killed off as many survivors in 2017 as it did from the actual list in 2016! Five years time, that list could feasible be down to 1 survivor. And then stuck on 1 survivor for 20 years.

One Crowdsourced list - which shall remain anonymous - had Neil Kinnock on it. I doubt he'd die next year, but the sentiment...

For example, one person on my B team is properly renowned in their own field, but has no chance of a QO now. This is quite sad, but hell, I've picked 'em anyway and if they do get a QO, that'll be a nice bonus. And if they live, even nicer, of course.

Oh I assure you it isn't at all serious. Well, mine isn't. Despite this year's one doing surprisingly well, it's mostly just a bunch of interesting people I don't think will get obits, but it's nice to give them a wee run out. Sort of a theme team without the theme...

I have no uniques at all, most likely, but also not a winning side - aiming to try and be better than 2017, if not 2016, points wise. Obviously being better than 2012-15 hopefully goes without saying.

Peter Falk and lots of other dead people have Alzheimer's. Right, there's that forum joke killed. On with the rest of the thread in 2018. Yours, Scrooge.

Somebody's a trend setter!

Midnight, Scottish time. ie... 11 hours and 18 minutes from now.

Your team has been added to the masterlist. 35 lists in now, the 2018 Crowdsourced will be the most representative of forum opinion yet!

@charon - Late reply on this, but Postlethwaite WAS a unique pick on that years DDP. Either a great call by someone, or someone who knew him, imo. Most of the rest of us, it was a surprise, because he hid in a house and didn't tell anyone he was terminal ill. Spoil sport.
