Hey, if you thought Aldous Huxley and CS Lewis picked the wrong day to die, think of poor old Birdman of Alcatraz. Dead a few hours earlier and did anyone notice? Speaking of, the interesting thing for me is that Huxley's death, Lewis's death and Kennedy getting shot all roughly happened in the same 15 minute period. Reaper got trigger happy that afternoon.

Some "news" site (which looks very National Inquirer) says she's on her way out. Look, it's Aretha Franklin. One of the biggest stars in music history. If she is in her last days as suggested above, word will get out beyond a few news/blog type places. It's not Gary DeCarlo we're talking about here. (That said, I do believe she is likely not in a good way...)

Then Googled Simon Jones businessman and it brought up 8 other Simon Jones's, all UK businessmen who have nothing to do with Detroit. So I Googled "Simon Jones, Detroit businessman", and the 2nd link was this thread. Is this April 1st?
