Just waiting for DDT to trump that one with a Tonga crown prince whose nickname alone has a scrabble deficit of 5000...

Nah, Abdul-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. That was a big name.
-
I wonder if he's celebrating it like it's his last birthday.

Meatloaf should go for the cast iron "I've never heard of this guy" defence here...

I'm quite confident that the first 20 names on my Pan Breed shortlist will be dead by the end of 2018. Of course, this is because I am fairly confident half of them will be dead by November...

Man says others shouldn't do something after decades of doing it.

Another update: treatment for said illness apparently not working. Sounds like cancer of some sort, in a 76 year old drinker.

In the true tradition of McGonagall there, YW!

I had him on my shortlist marked with a 70% chance of an obit, but didn't think he'd make the bells.

Never had a pet dog, but I do like them as animals, and despise folk who just treat them like some fashion accessory.

So I was looking up keepers of that time period and found Sarti died in June. Did a search on here to see if he'd been mentioned (if he hadn't it'd have been weird given Spade, drol, others). Not only was he, but in mentioning, Spade made the exact same reference about number of Italian keepers. Bah, late to every party.

Start of his career, there was Lorenzo Buffon (who, bloody hell, is still alive - I thought he was long gone). End of it, Dino Zoff. That's what I call shit timingt for an Italy career, really.

They can rebuild him!

Aye, but if they beat Ecuador next week they'll make a playoff at worst as Peru take on Colombia.

This untimely death didn't stop her appearing on the 1992 Deathlist, however!

Sorry to hear about your dug.

"There is some motive or message here." I'm going with "Dude Wanted to kill a shitload of people".

I only used it for the joke. You know, triggered, and the guy got shot. Ah well, it was funnier in my head.

A tip in the Sun. Albert Dryden, who became rather notorious here in 1991, for shooting a councilman dead during a live TV interview (due to a housing dispute), has been released from his life sentence. Had a massive stroke, can't speak, in a nursing home, 77 now. PS I believe there's video of the incident in that article which autoplays. He shoots off camera, from memory, but mentioning just in case anyone is triggered. And not like the council chap...
-
I'd guess so.

No point wishing away their lives with worry, Joey. I had a terminally ill pet once. Vets monitored it but left it alive as "not in pain", just had cancer. Lived 18 months, died of pneumonia.

Seems every time there's a World Cup on, some low key game or other is interrupted from its train of thought by news filtering in that some big name has popped his clogs. And you think to yourself: blimey, was Switzerland vs Ukraine really that bad? Yes, it was, fucking Oleg Blokhin and Kobi Kuhn. Anyway, Bush Sr seems a prime contender to be that type of death during the 2018 World Cup. You can picture it now: the USA team, black armbands. Some whispers to Clint Dempsey to look sad as he realises the camera is on him, so he pretends his gormless stare is meant to be sadness, etc. Then they lose 4-0 to Syria. So yeah, I think he'll beat the Ford record. And now I'm off to check up on Kobi Kuhn - he must be getting on a bit now...

Bush as 15th hit by Monday evening, you heard it from ZZL here first!

Better choice than Bob Dylan.

Well, bar Fallen Sparrow.
