Yeah, The Crowdsourced Deathlist is really helping lead the way on that front. Especially as some of the survivors might not get the same support next year.

I might wind up referring to you as "Rad" as a nickname, because I am shit at remembering names.

*Pete Frates dislikes this. -
It's dire with Charles Durning being one of the few redeemable features, imo!

Was in my first ever DDP team. Both the 2011 one I sent to the wrong email, and the 2012 successfully sent one! And yet, somehow still sodding on....

Ah, he wont be around in a years time, so if he wants to make the most of now with trips while he can, more power to him.

But do you know what makes the cancer even worse? Not having proper treatment.

I thought that was Sattar Edhi. And some other person who was a DDP hit before him. How many Mother Theresa's do they have in Pakistan?

Pretty sure you can get therapy free on the NHS for that one! -
Rob Ford was mostly harmed by being an unhealthy fat bastard, really.

Not actually read The Big Four. Weakest of the books of her big two detectives (ignoring those written while she had dementia, of course) is Appointment with Death, which uses the same trick as another novel, but less well. Christie's brilliant (ABC Murders is a big favourite) but alas, died in 1976, so not great for deadpoolers!

The German refugee in A Murder is Announced is called Mitzi. A great book.

It'd be a deserved win for actually twigging what the rules meant, unlike certain others. Though my 100% random team is 3 people down, via sods law, so given that, not doing too badly on penalties!

Now if Laura Bush gets terminal cancer before Hogmanay, we'll know you've been infested with that second sight... -
Oh, I honestly thought he'd died already.

I heard recently from (character actor name removed, off the record) that Tom is quite frail now.

Campbell was a Christian too, no. Gcreptile's going to win this one this by default!

Roy Dotrice? Bernard Hepton certainly feels Deathlisty, Peter "Jason King" Wyngarde is a possible too. Perhaps not an icon, but once seen, never forgotten... Outwith actors, Cribbins and Doddy are certainly, though both still rather active.

Honor Blackman. Random factor.

Tomorrow I'm starting the Javier Perez de Cuellar and Other Future Deathlist Centenarians thread...

Adi... nah, too obvious, really.

ADIOS TO THE RECORD 15/50 8th August 2017 Country music singer Glen Campbell has died after a long battle with Alzheimer's, to give The Crowdsourced Deathlist another success. He was perhaps best known for his song Rhinestone Cowboy, but also had a number of private life shenanigans which kept the gossip columns talking. After a career spanning over 50 years, Campbell was 81, and making his first appearance on the list. This is the record breaking 15th hit for this years list, an amazing achievement by the team, but more of an achievement for Glen Campbell, who did the leg work here. PS Joey, I was just getting there!!!

Oh that is a shame. Hopefully he is on the mend, agreed. Rather good comic timing in LOTSW, and one of the few bright spots once Sallis became too old and the rest of the stars all started dying.

Should he stay or should he go? If he goes it will be (13 points on the DDP) trouble. If he stays it will be (a 26 point joker next year) double...So the cancer oughta let him know, should he stay or should he go. The indecison's not really bugging me, though.

What did the poor people of Calcutta ever do to you? Haven't they suffered enough?
