Yeah, if I were on @Shaun of the Dead's list I'd get my affairs in order ASAP!
-
Javier Perez etc.
-
Think of poor Colin Meads: he ain't overshadowing anyone.
-
The Day the Clown Died. Never got to use that on The Crowdsourced, then.
-
Yes, it's possible for all of us to croak before January. Those of us with brain tumours, more so.
-
Word of God itself: On why Meads/LazyTown guy/Soares all missed out.
-
Australian Olympic cycling coach Gary West had MND. I only noticed in January (he announced it late last year) but as he was on no DDP teams this year, he sat on my list for 2018. Anyhow, scratch him off, as he's dead aged 57, and gets a Mail obit to boot. Annoying, but probably more annoying for him, tbh.

Aye, I mean, she was on my list (as seen in the Research thread), but I wound up not picking her for two reasons, one of which was the QO worry. So more power to DDT for holding firm on it.
-
Think yesterday keeps you comfortably on top, though to look any further stretches my limited maths. Aye, though I suspect you and I are both regretting the lack of Colin Meads at this point in time. Still long way to go.

Very droll, Joey.
-
iirc he said earlier in the year he was very busy with work this year? Possibly even in this very thread.
-
So The Love Boat is the B-team this year! Pretty sure she'll get an obit, especially after standing against Corbyn.
-
Pretty much the tagline for life, the universe and this forum itself there!
-
Dick Gregory is nailed on Last Word fodder. Meads might miss out depending what happens this week.
-
Depends how many newer names get traction. There were less crossovers DQs than I'd feared because of the strength of support for a number of the newcomers. I could see lots of votes for newcomers John McCain and Johnny Hallyday if either are still with us come Christmas time.
-
Blimey - with Forsyth and Meads, that's some hat trick of deaths in 2 days, all huge legends in their own sphere.
-
List so far really trying to do a favour for voters in Nov/Dec here.

PINETREE WILTS 17/50 20th August 2017 Legendary All Blacks rugby player Sir Colin Meads has died to give The Crowdsourced Deathlist yet another hit. Meads played 133 matches for New Zealand between 1957 and 1971, before becoming a coach and administrator. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2016, and optimistically tried to cure it with Te Kiri Gold Water, a homeopathic "cure". Doctors around the world are no doubt shocked to hear that bleach and water doesn't cure pancreatic cancer. Meads was 81, and was a lock for the list, appearing in a solid 21st place.

Duncan Russell, who apparently was manager of Mansfield Town a mere 6 years ago, dead aged 59. Previously, he was a coach at Blackburn and Wolves.
-
Watching a documentary on the BBC about Maxwell Clark, and apparently British scientist/maths type Sir Michael Atiyah is still with us, aged 88. Highly obitable when and where he goes.
-
I don't remember him, much.

Hey, if I listened to her deadpool advice (she doesn't deadpool) my team would doing far better right about now. She advised against picking Nevin, Baghdadi and Lakovic. She did make one post on here, iirc, about a decade ago - it was about Levi-Strauss or Geertz or someone like that.

ITV (?) version ran in the 90s. Americans steal British sitcom/drama ideas, we nick their game shows.

Yes, you should avenge that... Always a bit weird, seeing her in Terror of the Vervoids. Like she turned up to be in a costume drama and walked into the wrong rehearsal room.
