"Oh, the Deathlist forum! That shall help me on my quest. Wait a minute...it's about death! I never saw that coming!"

Yes, It's a special thread when you can open a page at random and be met full on with this. Ah, well, we've all done that one.

    The Dead Of 2017

Aye, but more pertinently, so does The Man in Black and the DDP!

Couldn't find any updates on the man though, Maryport, and if Vicki from Allo Allo visited him, she didn't take any photos. For shame.

Well, don't laugh here, but I was actually looking for an update on the man when I found that pic!

They're in Brinsworth, both of them. There was a fundraiser a day or two ago, which the photo is from. I suspect both are in better mental shape than fellow resident Richard O'Sullivan. Brinsworth Summer Fayre Saturday, apparently.
  7. She is, hence my denoting her as the "living" Liz Smith. As opposed to the dead one.

It's Deathlist forum favourites Teddy Johnson (98) and Pearl Carr (96)! Oh, and Vicki from Allo Allo.

    Or, being toddlers.
  10. Nope. No votes whatsoever. Nor Adam West.
  11. So, as requested, the entire voting list for the 2017 Crowdsourced Deathlist, tidied up as much as possible. I have tried to move doublers, but in case any names do show up twice - its because the earlier one wasn't deleted after another vote, so only the highest number is noteworthy. Elizabethans

I think for the 2018 Crowdsourced, along with some voting changes (to be revealed nearer the time, if I'm spared myself), I might nab the Form Guide thing Maryport does for the Midsummer, and let folk try and push contenders. I mean, it worked for June Foray and Glynis Johns to an extent this year. And not for Robert Hardy. Oh this reminds me, I'm to put up the "entire list by points".

    Elizabethans

And the combined wisdom of the forum have missed some big names too this year: Sarstedt and Soares, for example, who have been moaned about as Deathlist misses... So you know, that's life...

I used to be so bad at deadpooling, that when Tony Benn took ill, I put him on my DDP team, in the hope it would jinx him alive. He fucking died. Bloody Grim Reaper, taking the piss out of me...
  15. Is he? Well, there's a fate worse than death.
  16. So to recap: YW dislikes all politicians, charon dislikes all humans, Windsor wants to start up armed resistance against a non-existent Indy Ref, I'm just me, and Paul Bearer is probably somewhere wondering why he's the only sane Scot on this forum.

Really am tempted to start that Fantasy Book the Deathlist thread now, to stop Ideas (and other threads) getting clogged up...

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2018

They tend to go for people with name recognition, which I'm not so sure Jopling or Du Cann have. Lawson has been on the Deathlist before. However, I admit Hurd, Heseltine, Shirley, Boothroyd, the 2 Davids, Kinnock and your Uncle Tebbit are all Deathlist-ish names, though some are a bit young, yet. Trouble of course is that folk are getting older. There's a huge backlog of Deathlisty names who aren't on the list because folk are living longer than they did 20 odd years ago. Ken Dodd might die without ever being on a single Deathlist.
  19. They voted the wrong way. They were meant to give a big mandate...
  20. @Davey Jones' Locker - a fan of Shaun Micallef? He was on Paramount back in the day, funny as hell. I brought him up as a conversation starter with an Ozzie at uni... never heard of him. Bah. He does political humour so ON TOPIC.

Another one! Did they make that show in studios made from 100% asbestos-lining or something?

Oh, and there was me thinking that bleach water would do him the world of good, too.
  24. 62%. Though one or two were badly phrased. And a few are reliant solely on guess work, unless you specifically know the answer within the short time frame.

    Time Added

Well, Drop 40/Deathlist cert if he makes January 1st, but it doesn't sound good, to say the least...
