I can't believe the Tories would sweep bits of Wales but losing fucking Barnet. -

One of the younger generation no one is even looking at right now. -
When I heard that tour was the "David Gest is not Dead" tour, and it was going AHEAD despite his demise, I nearly bloody joined him laughing too hard.

Being ignoring the Phil Collins stuff, but looking at those pics, folk are right: he looks awful. Not awful "right on the shortlist for 2018", mind.
-
Word in the press is David Moyes is getting the Scotland job soon. Surely thats against the Geneva Convention?
-
I added her to my Windy team because there wasn't a chance in hell of her making 2018. Schoolboy error not to consider her for the Midsummer - did anyone?
-
Just in time for Yvette Cooper to step into the role when @Shaun of the Dead's Odds on Favourite Corbyn wins a thumping majority tonight.

I had much the same feeling a few years back with The Great Ziegfeld. Then Luise Rainer died, and spoiled the whole thing.

Given the likely landslide, the Queen will be hoping not. From Wiki, via Andrew Neil's book: Likes Dr Who, didn't like Thatcher. I can live with that.

Sounds like Dick Cheney should take one for the team and avoid this issue.

Voted. Which for anyone not voting Tory today might be like the old King Canute and the sea, but never mind. -
Aye, maybe so, but I remember a few years back folk were mocking right winger Bob Novak for "not seeing a pedestrian" - only it turned out he didnt see him because he had fatal brain cancer.

Just imagine one of our US pals, not aware of UK politics, stumbling across that last description for Ashcroft! # He has bouts of lousy health and a crippling allergic reaction to tax.

Not a fan of hers, but perhaps steady up on the piss taking till we know its just her being Diane Abbott and not, like, full on dementia or what not?

Clegg will be safe as houses. Labour vote over inflated last time due to a number of conditions which don't exist now in Hallam. As I think there will be a Tory majority of c 140-160, there will be a number of Labour defeats. Which would put Liz Kendall and Tom Watson at risk, especially if some folk with lesser majorities (Jess Philips) might survive due to Lib Dem vote crash in that seat.

Jimmy Tarbuck looks like fucking shit in those photos too. On the other hand, I wish I looked as good when 91 as June Whitfield appears to be!

He'll win, bigly.

No. They used to call the Home Office the graveyard for political careers, but, on trying to think of a decent Home Sec in my lifetime, it might be the case that its just given to shit politicians. I mean: Alan Johnson, Jacqui "porn videos" Smith, "Cabinet Bruiser" Dr John Reid, Charles Clarke (Christ he was shit), David Blunkett's dog, Michael Howard, David Waddington, Leon Brittan etc etc. When Jack Straw can possibly claim to be one of the top 3 anything of the last 40 odd years, you know we're not talking great quality. -
Wont be, because Tories will win a landslide. In the impossible likelihood Corbyn won, she'd be replaced by any number of folk coming in from the cold.

Aww damn. I loved Bodger and Badger as a kid. ("Everybody knows Badger loves mashed potato!") Mum hated it though. Mind you, now I can't stuff like Mr Tumble. Circle of life.

Luck of the draw - a fair few sides you'd have beat in that round iirc.
