If folk have moved to Labour, well, remember, Tories have very successfully made this an "us or them" election, squeezing the third party votes. So if folk were to choose between the "lesser of two evils", there's not an outstandingly great Tory option. It's "vote Theresa because she's not that deplorable guy" - all very Hilary. [Hilary would win here, of course. Tory majority 110 incoming.]

True story. We earn less now from work at home (saves childcare costs, plus lack of places due to the mass nursery/school places axe right in the midst of a baby boom - top idea, Labour!) than I did on the dole. Well, more, technically, but less "in real terms" once you count in the sharp tax and rent rises that come with "no being on benefits". Work. It doesn't pay. I mean, I'm a bad example because I'm an idiot, but my brother in law works full time as a garage mechanic and brings home less than someone on ESA would in a fortnight, thanks to severe underpaying below minimum wage and no fuckers in charge giving a toss about the working classes.
