Was thinking of Zorders tbh. I still haven't a fucking clue what Phantom did to earn that one! -
It's been a meme for decades, practically.

It's only been a year? Here's the thing to remember, though, Joey: there's lots of shit posts on the internet. Even this forum. Especially this forum. Especially from me. The best thing to do is to not worry about it. Canute vs the sea, there. You've lasted a year without being banned or telling someone to kill themselves, you'll be fine... (That H20 joke was absolutely dire, mind you...) -
It's as if those police and intelligence cuts during the past seven years were an error or something. Luckily, the Home Secretary in charge of much of this has been moved to a job in which they can do less damag...

So, Momentum claimed the polls were rigged when it was Tories 20 points ahead, and now right wingers claim the polls are rigged when its closer. Simple solution: the polls are bollocks, in general. If folk have moved to Labour, well, remember, Tories have very successfully made this an "us or them" election, squeezing the third party votes. So if folk were to choose between the "lesser of two evils", there's not an outstandingly great Tory option. It's "vote Theresa because she's not that deplorable guy" - all very Hilary. [Hilary would win here, of course. Tory majority 110 incoming.] -

I wouldn't worry about it. You are still far more likely to get run over by a drunk driver, hit by a train, or killed by cows in the UK. -
Been an arrest, according to the Beeb, which makes me pause for further info. Yer terrorists who stab folk don't tend to get arrested once armed police are called.

Corbyn's not going to win. He's an OAP who is electorally toxic to 40% of the population, and is reliant on adoration from his own fans who go to meetin... Err. He's behind in the polls, and in Theresa May we have an established establishment character, even if folk aren't massively enthused in her... Err. His foreign policy history is widely seen as dodgy by swing voters and likely to be electoral pois... Err. Nah, still not going to happen. -

Given the number of "girlfriends" he's had since I've known him, it can't hurt! -

True story. We earn less now from work at home (saves childcare costs, plus lack of places due to the mass nursery/school places axe right in the midst of a baby boom - top idea, Labour!) than I did on the dole. Well, more, technically, but less "in real terms" once you count in the sharp tax and rent rises that come with "no being on benefits". Work. It doesn't pay. I mean, I'm a bad example because I'm an idiot, but my brother in law works full time as a garage mechanic and brings home less than someone on ESA would in a fortnight, thanks to severe underpaying below minimum wage and no fuckers in charge giving a toss about the working classes. -
Hey, if I'm that active at 96, I think I'd be able to deal with looking rough in some photos.

There's a Vietnam leader from the War, I forget his name, who last I check was alive on Wiki and aged 100 and something. This is despite history books noting the chap died in obscurity in the 1970s.

Good luck, YW. On the other hand, I plan to put my feet up imminently, deadpooling wise, till mid-November when the first Crowdsourced lists arrive in my PM box!

Soon to be And Then There Nine, in terms of Hart siblings. Of course, the most talented died 18 years ago.

^ What he said.

As we say up here, YW: yer ball, yer rules! Imo, of course.

In other words, someone like one of the Nolan sisters or Samantha Cameron fine because famous in own right, but a, say, tracy McGiffin is out? Not complaining, just clarifying.

Reminds me of when RK was going slowly last year, and one of the tumours was pressing down on her lungs so as to simulate suffocation with each breathe. Sounded horrific.

Gord's birthday was 9th Feb, so no chance of that here, but then, I quite like his music, and he seems like a chill dude, so am happier for him to have a few more months on the planet rather than worry about some silly points.

I thought there was a second? When not sleep deprived, I shall have a look, and be entirely fair!

I'm holding off till we get confirmation on actual date of death. That might be the case, DI, but it was used against Spade later in this way and allowed to go undebated into law. As Andrew Jackson once said, "this nation is built upon precedent and I have just created one." I think he said that, I'm half-remembering. If he didn't, he ought to have.
