The Rolling Probabilistic Ddp Scoreboard

Perhaps, but I can't help but wonder if you or Rad Chap aren't going to wipe the floor with the rest of us in a few years. -
It wasn't about making folk healthier. It's about making more money off them, of course.

Sadly his finest moment isn't recorded. Princess Elizabeth brings Philip up to Balmoral to meet her dad for the first time. Entire room full of court hangers-on. Here comes George VI in full kilt. Philip sees him, and curtseys to the King.

Yes, but point standing, however, as Pointless points out every day, the general public can be incredibly stupid. Anytime anyone mentions Clapham I think of Up the Junction.

Bloody Joey, stealing my thunder! Seems so far we have 16 big hits, ie, folk known to be or largely expected to be on their last legs 1. 7th January – Mario Soares 2. 15th January – Jimmy Snuka 3. 19th January – Mark Sims 4. 21st January – Tracy McGiffin 5. 21st January – Paul Briggs 6. 31st January – John Wetton 7. 3rd February – Gordon Aikman 8. 6th February – Joost van der Westhuizen 9. 8th February – Steve Sumner 10. 13th February – Sara Coward 11. 17th February – Peter Skellern 12. 20th February – Steve Hewlett 13. 26th February – Jay Clark 14. 11th March – Lisa Magill 15. 14th April – Bruce Langhorne 16. 17th April – Michael Perham You can judge how well a DDP team is doing by how many of the above they scored on. For example, Pan Breed comes in at a disappointing 5/16, despite all of the above (bar Perham and Briggs) being on its shortlist.

Once the big names start dropping, Shameless will fall out of the pecking order. They did last year after the Feek/Ford/Crowe joker payouts. Christie/Downie/Bracknell holding firm just now, but they've got a long summer ahead of them. -
Don't worry, for some of us, our post quality has been exceptionally low for 7 years now...

Oh I don't remember that, that is somewhat more reassuring. If he returns, of course. -

Poor Cat, beginning to think he's gone for good. -
Yeah that puts a more positive spin on it. When I saw the news above, it was being reported as "with immediate effect", not "this Autumn".
-
Hmm. One suspects this will become a busier thread within the next year then.
-
If its not abdication, and its not to due about the Queen or Libby, or death related... hmm, an arrest?
-
I wouldn't blame the palace. They just brought forward the annual meeting due to some important issue, which could easily be an admin one within the business. It's the press who immediately heard and went "oooh, death!"
-
Reports that he may be dead now.

Not one of mine (for a change). Though this does lower the number of notables born 1912 on my mega longlist to 7. -

In twelve hours. Though given the media AND the Labour party have entirely linked their coming disaster to Corbyn, that'd spectacularly miss the point of such a bonkers scenario. Back in the world of reality: A tenner? What a waste. -

I've more of a "sod you and the horse you came on" view on much of the main candidates tbh. I still think the best case scenario would be May losing the election though. It'd be funny, and would piss off a whole lot of career politicians. Also, in Brexit negotiations, which are screwed either way now, either it would kick our elite up the arse and actually get them to send out some top diplomats to negotiate, or we'd just send Corbyn and the EU would go "Aww, they've sent their slightly loop granddad, lets lower our guard..." Win/win. -
^ Had/has prostate cancer, no? David Ashforth, thank you, new page.

Not many left who worked on the original Quatermass Experiment now. Bar the indomitable Paddy Russell, of course, who was a production assistant.
-
Enjoyable stuff though, Grim - add some nice background stats which I didn't have time to do.
