Some memory loss but recovered and going back on the stage. Sounds like a sensible miss by the Cmme.

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2018

Marie Frederiksson still not make public appearances due to "health condition". The link (gaystarnews?) is the link is the link, and 2 months old. That's Google for you. However, according to the sidebar, you can finally find out what the world's gayest beach is. Exciting stuff.

    World's Oldest

Lucy Hannah Third oldest verified person to ever live, but was born 5 months after Jeanne Calment and died in 1993 at a mere 117 years and 248 days. Apparently.

Which, to be fair, Sir Creep did.

    The Hartlepool Deadlypool

Heh, could wind up in the funny position in December where a Stefan Karl death would be useful for someone in the DDP but not here.

    Eric Clapton

He also told Kevin (the sole living Von Erich) that he hadn't the guts to kill himself like his brothers. Complete charmer, Fritz.

    Eric Clapton

Pro-wrestling example, but when the first two or three of his sons died (its a long story), Fritz Von Erich tried to keep the large Dallas crowds coming to the shows by just inventing a new son to westle under the Von Erich name. The audience reaction was along the lines of "Hey, we're 80s pro-wrestling fans but even we're not falling for that!"

    Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets

He was on my longlist but I went for Lakovic as the punt N American with lousy cancer. Not that Sasha is doing me much favours right now.

    The Hartlepool Deadlypool

Not to pass doubt on that merited team, but if Joey wins with it, he deserves all the praise in the world.

    Morrissey

I stand by my opinion from a few months back. Some nice songs in The Smiths, but whiny sod.

They'd probably mutter about how Benedict is proving the old adage about the good dying young, or something.

    The Hartlepool Deadlypool

Good going, MPFC. Of the two teams out in front, we have the following survivors: Radguy Errol Christie Gord Downie King Michael I of Romania Gay Byrne Stefan Karl Steffanson Colin Meads Valery Spiridinov Maryport Tony Booth Billy Graham Leah Bracknell Gord Downie Martin Peters If Peters is likely to see 2018, there's always Bracknell, and, if she doesn't make up the 30 point deficit between you and RadChap, Messrs Booth and Graham have been tottering for a long time now. Errol Christie might be a game changer, though, and the Lazy Town guy certainly if he turns out be over optimistic. There's also me: msc Simon Ricketts Gord Downie Leah Bracknell Catherine Nevin Paul Van Zandvliet Rayya Elias potential sub points for Errol I think that's still a very strong team of survivors going into the last 2/3s of the year, but it'll need folk to die in the right order to maximise points and haul in the 56 point deficit.
  13. I like not even being on the list anymore. We Scots always do our best work when being complete underdogs...

    The Deathlist Cup

Emma Morano IS a hit, and a unique one for Deadsox! They finally have a hit. I have been humming and hawwing about it being 2 points or 3 points, as "oldest woman in the world" isn't really a claim to fame and is more a lifetime achievement. Deadsox is however now level with Spade at the half way point. Meanwhile, Tony Kaye's death turns another Quarterfinal on its head, being a three pointer for Heef. News on the horizon: while Jason DiMatteo is apparently on the mend, Barry Marshall-Everitt on the other hand (a unique for Death Impends) is now in full time hospice care and getting coverage in the Evening Standard next week, according to Just Giving. Meanwhile the likes of Nevin, Lakovic and King Michael cling on.... 1. DDT vs Rad’s Die-monds in the Sky (Rad Guy) 0-1 2. “O” (Gcreptile) vs William Henry Harrison Die-in-a-Month Squad (Death Impends) 2-9 3. 101 Great Practical Jokes with Luciano Re Cecconi (Spade Cooley) vs Deadsox 2-2 4. The GUN’11 (Grim Up North) vs Heef 2-4 As usual, if I miss out your slightly obscure unique hit, do let us know.

This line, however, did make me laugh: Christ, we don't want to use the drugs after their expiry date, that might cause serious health complications...

Yeah, Liverpool's improvement has been like the kloppers this season. I'll get my coat.

Thought Spurs were 8 points ahead of Arsenal. 17? Hmm, its always when Arsenal look out of it they suddenly spring back up like Dracula.

    The Dead Of 2017

Too lazy to search for my December 2011 post suggesting Sid Waddell and Frank Carson for the 2012 Deathlist, but yeah. The trick is to suggest really obvious people so that when they show up, you can pretend to take full credit, like with me and Libby.

    Thoughts On The 2017 List

Prognosis is not an exact science. Outliers exist as much due to the vagaries of human life and death as they do on anything anyone proactively does.

    Last of the Summer Wine

Good to see you about, OoO. Hope you're keeping well. Yeah, her being a schoolkid in 1951 blows the 1921 date out of the water! Nice to see Jane getting a number of posts on here when she died though, in comparison with the radio silence from the BBC on the matter.

    Thoughts On The 2017 List

Well, 3 particularly good years for deadpooling I can recall were 2009, 2012 and 2015. The Deathlist did pretty good in all, but started very slowly, with 3rd hits not happening till May, even.

    Last of the Summer Wine

Yeah, it's always amused me that the age difference in real life between Mrs Robinson and young Dustin Hoffman is almost exactly the age difference between me and my wife! (Six years)
  23. Well, it did have a fairly active year last.
  24. March 2016 - 6 Crowdsourced Deathlist hits March 2017 - 0 Crowdsourced Deathlist hits. Can't be too greedy though, with our blockbuster start, and a number of tottering celebs still on the list.
