It's surprisingly easy to make the error*, actually, even with double checking sources sometimes, Usually the person is on road out, and trusted sources confirm the exact moment of death by error. *Spoken from experience. To top it, not only was the person not dead, they rebounded and lived another six months.

Tony Kaye is a prominent horse racing trainer who is apparently terminally ill. He'll get the full 3 points if he goes this month. You are right, Ms Betts is a one pointer when she goes.
-
He doesn't have it in the bag - have you seen how close Spade is with fewer hits? I'm still on the TJS to win boat, though I think he and I have done a masterstroke in letting our rivals burn through their candidates now, while ours drop off later.

Both he and Carrington did feel like certs to go this year, unconsidered by me for the DDP solely on age grounds. More surprised (surprised not complaining, mind) neither made the Deathlist, but then Radio DJs might not be their thing.

And Bingo was his name-o. Points for Death Impends, Gcreptile and Grim Up North on the death of a scary religious chap. 1. DDT vs Rad’s Die-monds in the Sky (Rad Guy) 0-0 2. “O” (Gcreptile) vs William Henry Harrison Die-in-a-Month Squad (Death Impends) 2-6 3. 101 Great Practical Jokes with Luciano Re Cecconi (Spade Cooley) vs Deadsox 2-0 4. The GUN’11 (Grim Up North) vs Heef 2-0

Vennari needs an obit - I might be lax but even I draw the line at Sedevacantism newsletters as QO. He should get one, and if Reid is buried in Glasgow, he ought to get one too.
-
That sites gone really downhill in recent years by looks of it. Anyhow, I'd already set a precedent that I consider geek news sites like this one (Bleeding Cool was a QO in the last round - an error to be honest, but a precedent is a precedent), so with that in mind... 1. DDT vs Rad’s Die-monds in the Sky (Rad Guy) 0-0 2. “O” (Gcreptile) vs William Henry Harrison Die-in-a-Month Squad (Death Impends) 0-4 3. 101 Great Practical Jokes with Luciano Re Cecconi (Spade Cooley) vs Deadsox 2-0 4. The GUN’11 (Grim Up North) vs Heef 0-0 We're still looking for a QO for Gcreptile's man in Milton Keynes.

I missed Euro 2000. The 2002 World Cup was my introduction to football (and yet, somehow, I persisted with it). Best tournament match I've seen live imo be the Dutch vs the Czech Republic, 2-3, from Euro 2004. Alas, both sides shadows of themselves now. Better than some though, I've never seen Scotland qualify for a tournament as a fan yet... England/Nigeria was on at the same time as the "looks quite good on extended highlights" Sweden v Argentina straight KO match in that group stage though, so presumably there was the chance to change channels. Not so with Ukraine v Switzerland, best summed up by one team playing from the first 30 seconds for penalties...and realizing once they got to them that none of them had practiced the fucking things!

51 year old? Alan? Cuts related cancer? That's just stirring the DDP QO pot for some of us...
-
Wins 3 Juno awards. That's the Canadian Brits, I think. Anyhow, was unable to attend ceremony, but he did a video link which is at 1 min 40-ish in the video below.
-
Sure. Serfs.
-
Well, I do hope you are able to stick around.
-
Yes, I have no idea what this (loose) poem filled with all the symbols of impending death could possibly mean... "seven and a half feet of polar bear. (And, please look away now if you are vegan – ) deceased and stuffed." The bit in bold made me laugh.
-
So he wanted to get to Glasgow, and he died in Milton Keynes? Poor sod. Awaiting a QO.
-
According to Gregory Irons (an indy wrestler) on Facebook, midget wrestler Cheesy died recently. Yes, I know that's someone else linking the news. Also according to the Kayfabe Memories territory history forums, Pink the Clown died last year. Both were midget wrestlers in the same Survivor Series 1994 match - Doink the Clown and midget clowns vs Jerry Lawler and midget Royals - which was fucking atrocious. Really important names there, I know, but there you go anyhow.
-
Right, a spree killer died. I have decided that he was only really famous for being ill. However he is unique too. Either way, 2 points for Death Impends in the early going, who must be confused at not sharing the points with his immediate opposition after March. 1. DDT vs Rad’s Die-monds in the Sky (Rad Guy) 0-0 2. “O” (Gcreptile) vs William Henry Harrison Die-in-a-Month Squad (Death Impends) 0-2 3. 101 Great Practical Jokes with Luciano Re Cecconi (Spade Cooley) vs Deadsox 0-0 4. The GUN’11 (Grim Up North) vs Heef 0-0

There were a lot of finely contested ties in the last round. Everyone was surprised by the heavy favourites lingering on one more month.
-
Hah! I was so busy putting the list together I never even noticed.
-

And it's QUARTERFINALS time! Bad luck to The Dead Cow, amazing match, my hats off to you. Better luck next time. Also unlucky Garn2, but Heef again shows quality. Now, those drawn games. Actual conversation 5 minutes ago: Wife: What are you doing? Me: Trying to do a penalty shootout via toss of the coin Wife: *laughs hysterically* No street cred, me. Here is the "shootouts". All the teams are likely in now (2 not in but...unlikely to advance). Just need to wait for any last minute twists (or lack of twists).
-
So, just DDT (or Switch) and DI (who has mentioned it coming in later up thread). 5 hours and 6 mins till I can sort out a masterlist.
-
Early retirements and/or redundancies due to budget cut, apparently. Carol Walker going too. 4 others unnamed going according to Digital Spy forums.
