That's why I strongly suggest PMing me the teams. Someone asked me if they should put it in here instead earlier and I hinted to much that issue. Essentially, if you post your team here early, and thus give your opponent an unhealthy advantage, you're a fool, imo. Either that, or the entirely impartial and lovely referee...

Just last week we were watching the BBC 1983 version of Mansfield Park where Gordon Kaye played Doctor Grant. Can't believe Bernard Hepton (who played the character in Secret Army which Rene was based on) outlasted him Bernard Hepton, an old favourite of mine. Him and Jayston might outlive the rest of Tinker Tailor.

Seems he did die on Thursday but his parents held off on announcing the death until today. Presumably because they figured it'd get lost in the press if they'd announced it on Thursday? Kind of guessed this was the truth but didn't feel it the done thing to say anything till his mum (who seems a really nice person) actually broke the news.

I agree with you. Volunteer work, when I'm able to do it, really gives you a good feeling when it's all over, cause you know you helped someone who may not have the ability to do what you do for them. Probably should find a way to do more volunteer work. Is this another one for RadGuy's "signs of a deadpooler" list? I used to do volunteer counseling and stuff with vulnerable folk. Thanks again for running this fine competition, Maryport, and I look forward to the 2018 edition should we all still be here and it exists!

Remember Spade was 50 points (give or take) behind the league leaders at one point in 2013, and Tonight, Matthew were 40 points behind Heaven Knows They're Miserable Now by end of January 2009 - on 31st December, Matthew was the champ, and HKTMN not even in the top three...
