After that, he becomes the longest living US President in history. Jimmy Carter is 111 days younger than Bush Sr, so he has to survive into 2018 to surpass the Reagan, Ford and any potential records Bush Sr might set if he lives long enough. Some useless facts for you (my wonky maths notwithstanding).

I've never had a dog, or a cat, or anything like that (I did have a giant terrapin which bit everyone and was an antisocial git though, that was awesome) but I know how folk get with their pets, and am sorry for your loss. I also know folk who get on far, far better with their pets than they ever did their mums, dads, siblings, you name it (actually, I think all of our former pet hamsters were smarter than most of my inlaws, to tell the truth), so not for me to judge who folk consider a strong enough link to, to post in here, imo.

All I'll add is that Cat O'Falk is one of the better posters on here, and I hope he hasn't stopped posting due to one person being an idiot. As you still log on to the forum, Cat, I can't speak for the rest of the forum, but I've always found you a highly informative poster (as well as one who adds greatly to my well of things which procastinate - see the Flight Radar!) with a good sense of humour, and would be saddened to see you gone.

She was also apparently a Batman villain. Well, a Batman henchwoman. She aids Roddy McDowall's Bookworm (a failed author who commits crimes based on novel plots) in a two parter which, iirc, was actually quite good. Can't mind much about her in it though.
