Director of the first series of Smith and Jones and Only Fools and Horses, as well as Blackadder I. Might be unlikely to ever see a proper obit given he's been dead over a week, but there's a note on here anyhow.

Watching it. Cancer was "in remission for five years there" (implying it's not anymore), and he's on experimental drugs to try and prolong his life/test them out for the health service.
