    The Dead of 2022

Seen it. Now I may easily have missed some of these due to blink and you miss it, whisky or straight up crap memory. But those I didn't see you'd expect: Jack Dromey and other MPs Hardy Kruger Beryl Vertue Ivan reitman Jack smethurst Anna Karen William Hurt Ralph riach Nehemiah Persoff Andy Fletcher David Warner James lovelock Judith Durham Loretta Lynn David butler May need to rewatch later as surely Warner and Vertue were in there somewhere.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2023

Roy Chubby Brown postponed some gigs to 2023 due to illness. Apparently, he's done this quite regularly in recent years, and is 78 next year. He also had a hip replacement during the summer.
  3. Says you're a lucky bastard tbh. It's not even about the music, I've nowt against novelty as I've said, even if the joke wears a bit thin. I don't even mind what folks politics are, mostly. But I do hate hypocrites who get rich posturing* over the plight of the working classes. *Last few years profit - Ladbaby £2.1 million, Trussell Trust from the song, circa £350k. Nice work shilling for a good cause...
  4. For comparison, Sound of the Underground by Girls Aloud sold nearly 250, 000 in its debut week in 2002. And that was seen as a decline compared to the 90s and 80s and so on.
  5. 65, 000 sales. To get to the Christmas number one. Fucking hell, the charts are dead.

    Derby Dead Pool 2023

Hah, that was me. And I've still not picked them. If there's a 2020-21 name with a grumpy, sarcastic or put down bio, it's usually me. See also the ones taking the piss out of WEP's obscure names, any references to Deathray's FFBI team as "DDP teams to slit your wrists to" or the like and a few put downs of mediocre politicians. Whereas Reptile's were far more kindly and understanding!

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

Avoiding spoilers as requested above, yes to all of the above.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

It took a while for the word of mouth to turn it from "hah this sounds rubbish" to "wait this is quite compulsive viewing". This not putting up on Iplayer all at once and making people wait, like in the old days, has really helped it too. (Line of Duty does the same incidentally, at the creators request.) The clip you mention is probably in the trailer to look like she's found out about Wilf, so in editing trick standards, it's probably Aaron announcing he was faithful after being eliminated by the group for saying something utterly Aaron.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

    1. Don't be too obviously smart. Or a threat to the traitors. Or eccentric. Or lacking a fucking hand in one case! 2. Don't piss off too many folk too early. 3. If you can accidentally buddy up to a traitor early on, do so. If Hannah turns round tonight and goes all Columbo reveal, I'll recant everything.

Good work and I look forward to seeing the charts team again. Now, find some way to send in a Crowdsourced list.

    ALS/MND/other degenerative diseases

BBCV Sports Personality of the Year 2022 - Rob Burrow gets the Helen Rollason memorial award for outstanding achievement in the face of adversity. Rollason was a DL pick back in the day, Burrow probably wont be.
  14. I feel like we've jumped the shark somewhat with what constitutes a novelty record (though by definition you could add in most of the charts since 1960) but never mind that - what's wrong with novelty records?

    The World of the Snowflake

No doubt it did. No doubt some of the money from Lad Baby's stuff goes to starving people too. Doesn't stop it being a pile of self-promoting bollocks. And bloody hell, TQR with the same reference as I was typing.

    The World of the Snowflake

I'd bin it on general principle, because it's shite. It's the worst moment in Midge Ure's career, as he himself admits. And that man was once robbed of a number one hit by Joe fucking Dolce.

Was watching Wayne Grace yesterday actually. He's the director in Mulhullond Drive! One of those US TV and film faces. He was also the sherrif in a famous episode of the X files.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

I've read too many Miss Marple books to fall for the "I'm a harmless dotty old woman" act. Come the final she'll be voting out Wilf and going "give me the money, ya cunts!"

Reminds me of Johnny Clegg where, no matter the surgery or chemo, it kept coming back. Pancreatic cancer for you.
