Well count this as trade press: http://www.wcr.ab.ca...82/Default.aspx Cool! First time I've ever lead this (in...four attempts now) - all downhill from here!

Gery Leuliet died on January 1st, the wait for an English obit begins. As the oldest Catholic bishop in the world, you'd expect a mention at some point.

What Do You Think Of The 2015 Death List?
msc replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
That's more because Winton was an unmemberable Member of Parliament. Power is in cabinet and departmental decisions. Denis Healey was an arse in government. Sold and cut and spent and wasted millions and maybe billions. Winton was the British chap who saved lots of Jewish children from the Nazis. Are you thinking of Norman Winterton, non-entity ex Tory MP? -
What Do You Think Of The 2015 Death List?
msc replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
Roberts, Nimoy, Sallis, Adulyadej, Crowe, MacNee, Simon all seem good bets not to see 2016. Then there's the Valerie Harper chance, and and the random nature of the older picks. Ten will happen eventually, perhaps more. As for Molinaro and pals, the Committee have their old favourites who only leave the list by dying. Fair enough, its their list. The folk with 6 or more appearances to their name will I suspect be on the list till death, so they avoid the Patrick Moore repeat. -
George Cole.

Clash Of Helmuts - Which Will Die First?

Kohls in poor health, whereas Schmidt is just old, no? Actually, I think Schmidt will go first, just on the age gap. -
Who, On The 2015 Death List, Would You Like To Meet?

Patrick MacNee - he seems quite cool. -
Blimey, Spade - some good low hangers there (whom I'd admit to have never heard of before), a seemingly high risk/reward joker, some highly questionable obits, and at least one complete bastard. Oh, and the wrestler too! Pan Breed 2015 1. Colin Bloomfield (joker) 2. Martin Crowe 3. Helen Fawkes 4. Kate Granger 5. Eric Lubbock, Lord Avebury 6. Sam Simon 7. Jimmy Hill 8. Joost van der Westhuizen 9. Seumas Milne 10. Ryuichi Sakamoto 11. Percy Sledge 12. Glen Campbell 13. Jacques Villeneuve Sr 14. Vojislav Seselj 15. Mary Wilson 16. Asa Briggs 17. Patrick MacNee 18. Peter Sallis 19. Peter Sutcliffe 20. Caroline Aherne I fully admit Seselj might be pulling a "Chap from Guinness" about his health, but you never know. No uniques whatsoever, I don't think, but I figured after a few disappointing seasons to focus less on the uniques, and more on the ill. The joker was originally going to be Ali Carter before he improved. And Valerie Harper got dropped, which seals her 2015 fate.

He's got brain cancer iirc.

Some solid choices. The calls for Tony Bennett's removal being heeded, sods law will now finish him off. -
Finally a niche subject ranters can go "Who?" about I know of! Hope Jake doesn't die in 2015, mind, he's a bloody legend.
-
Now theres no chance of jinxing it (he says, knowing the only competitor was a fellow Glaswegian), Congrates Spade! Well deserved.

Who, On The 2015 Death List, Would You Like To Meet?

I'll tell you in about seventy minutes. -
What a comforting fact that is to know.
-
I'm away down at 320th = :-( Joint 51st, a personal best! Annoyingly I would have finished in the top ten if I'd not dropped my joker on a last minute whim. Schoolboy error, that one.

Precedent suggests they miss out, no? Other than that, I'm afraid I'll fence sit. As time says, its your game, your decision.

The 35 names on the Hartlepool and Hares pools, and Greville Janner as I made a mental note to remember him then forgot. Otherwise: George Alagiah Janet Asimov Judy Blume Jim Bowen Jorge Zorrigeuta Jean Alexander Were late omissions.

He's lasted roughly as long as Swayze did with metastasized pancreatic cancer so far. I like Sam, he's probably in large parts solely responsible for The Simpsons surviving beyond its rough first series, but Matt Groening had it sussed, I think, when he said Simon was "brilliantly funny and smart, but unpleasant and mentally unbalanced". Or to put it another way, he can be a sod all he wants, he created Mr Burns, and Burns will last longer than he does.

A friend phoned up to tell me he'd heard about it at school. Didn't have the internet back then, so only found it had actually happened on that weekends RAW.
-
He's just angling to replace Ronnie Biggs in the ambassador job.
-
Nah, as said above he's posting regularly on his Facebook and is even considering a drag comeback. I'd make him 50/50 for 2015 tbh, although I have no idea how the final months for a CJD sufferer go tbh. Fair enough. My entire knowledge of CJD comes from the X-Files episode with the cannibals in truth!

Pan Breed's 4th attempt is in the mail. Will it be another year of "also-ran" or a better than average attempt? Almost certainly the former!
