6/20 by December 1st, and a place in the top 100 isn't bad for a first shot, I guess!

This shows the error in jumping first to report a death. I heard of Pertwee's demise last night from three separate but highly credible sources who are rarely wrong. I refrained from mentioning it due to lack of news report to go with it then, just "insider info". Then, when I woke up there, my wife tells me he's had the greatest comeback since Mark Twain. Sometimes caution is good, to avoid looking like a random guest of ill repute.

Last I heard he was still lucid, and moaning about the Brazilian football coach who has been sacked. If anything, he's probably treating potential death and rumours of his demise in the same way he treated being 102 and so on, and more power to him.

Greek Thomson, but thats a rather Scottish specific answer, I'd gather. -
Who Should Be On The 2013 Deathlist?

Pincher will be a delightful DL hit one day. The idea of Herbert Lom not being famous enough for folk makes me sad too: he's a big part of the Pink Panthers films! Anyhow, the "name" game is a bit daft: over the course of several years looking at this forum, I've heard several names mentioned in hushed tones I'd never heard of before. Usually followed by a trip to Google to see who they were. Some of them I've even got quite into, and wouldn't have heard of them if not for the forum. (Anne Feeney comes to mind.) Not having heard of a DL or DDP pick should be seen as an opportunity rather than a challenge. -
I'd heard about two months ago Reg was meant to be slowly on the mend now, so I'd be wary of picking him myself. If Chopper gets on the List, I'd be very surprised to say the least.

Seemingly being a grumpy git workaholic who is mad about women. Which almost fits into the Henry Allingham recipe for longevity: something like "cigars, whiskey and loose women".
-
There's a few lingerers - Superstar Billy Graham comes to mind - but I think Windham is out of the woods for a few years. On the other hand, I've a feeling we wont be having Kamala about for too much longer.
-
It did at one point, but I'd like to think no one takes uncited random Wiki edits for much. Else half of us would be leading the DDP...
-
Not quite on the Berle/Moore/Wilder/Queen Mum run in 2002 though.

Going for Pincher again might be construed as a bit of vendetta (heh) so I've gone for Kissinger. If I've learnt anything about Neimeyer by now, its that hes the one man on the list I'd almost expect to no sell kidney failure and go back to work...

Chapman Pincher. -
RIP Clive Dunn. Didn't expect to see this for a while yet. I always joked that the DL doubled as the Clive Dunn Appreciation Society, so it's nice to see so many nice tributes to such a legend.

Ivor Powell has died aged 96. DDP points for A Pelican In The Wilderness Weed 'Em And Reap
-
There is more evidence for Tobin though.

I was just reading up on Fitch there, Odstock (the wife is more of the racing fan in this house): he sounds a remarkable fellow with a well lived long life.

You'd be surprised, The Sun loves its WWE obits. Even Oliver fucking Humperdink got one. Bastion Booger actually got one in the Evening Standard. They must have been short on copy that day. I stand corrected. Though they didn't bother giving obit to Strongbow, so it might depend on who the writer remembers showing up with Hogan. The Booger one is just bizarre.
-
No chance of an obit over here, though I doubt many wrestlers would make British obits, even Eaton. Although if the 91 year old Mick McManus is ignored when he goes...
-
Bobby Eaton's back in hospital, from what I've heard. I would prefer one of the many ony my DDP list. I never put Bobby Eaton on either of then Bobby Eaton is apparently recovering from pnuemonia and heart failure. Hector Garza, on the other hand, has lung cancer.
-
If the Daily Records coverage of her having breast, bone, brain, lung and liver cancer now is true, then I can't see her living to see the FA Cup final again.

Hearts would be fucked if Romanov was to have a sudden massive heart attack.

Did you not look at the link I posted above, which shows her in May of this year? It was hiding in a blind spot. Must get my eyes checked.

This made me compelled to check if there was any news on her. Unsurprisingly, there's none. http://www.lettersofnote.com/2012/10/some-things-should-happen-on-soft-pages.html Ok, there's that, but its from 2006. Hmm, in 2010, the BBC did a documentary about Lee, which she refused to appear in, but her sister told us she was doing well. In late 2011, reports of her becoming increasing frail came out. Suggesting more news at the end of 2012 or in 2013... then again, her sister is 99 and still working (as a lawyer, having replaced the dad who is the avatar for Atticus Finch). She's a hard one to keep tabs on, as apart from snippets of gossip from other people, next time we hear anything about her will probably be her death.

Stigwood is a good shout actualy, I had forgotten about him. Its amazing where your mind leads you to, Ted Heath got a mention in that thread or somewhere, which leads to his old sparring partner Harold Wilson who I was shocked to learn held the royalties (and his estate still does) to ''Flowers in the Rain''..............and the main beneficiary was the Stoke Mandeville hospital, Jimbos favourite.. So on that basis, I nominate Roy Wood. FFS!! Does Wilson's (still surviving) widow pocket the steady stream of cash from that classic? I know the background to the legal case but the cash earned is now out of all proportion to the damage done. Incidentally, Wilson's widow was "sprightly" two years ago. Link: http://en.wikipedia....son_of_Rievaulx iirc it still goes to a variety of charities? Though you mention Mary Wilson, and I feel obliged to mention Clarissa Eden. Though younger, people tend to forget shes still about, given how long ago Sir Anthony and Churchill went.

Mike Graham is dead, aged 61, possible suicide. Like father, like son if so.
