    Derby Dead Pool 2017

Out of interest, who actually leads if there's a tie between Spade and Bert?

    Derby Dead Pool 2017

With Elias on the clock, its Spade's to lose now, imo.

Meh, it happens. Live and learn. Well, Bradley wont but you know what I mean!

    Time Added

Possibly only of interest to me and Young Willz (though if he doesn't get a full BBC obit, I'll be having words) but have heard on the ground that the great man John Lambie is seriously ill.

    Hollywood Possibilities

Well in experience, kids are things that arrive on the horizon just as you have your money sorted for the status quo... but, 20 doesn't seem that young, tbh. Old enough for a 4 year wedding anniversary!

    Chris Rea, Die-arrhea

Oh great, make me read the fucking Express! Right. Still on medication to keep the pancreatic cancer at bay (they saved him by removing his pancreas and shitloads of other stuff, but the risk of relapse is pretty much constant). Last year, he had a massive stroke. He's heavily diabetic. His balance is permanently fecked from the stroke. Probably not in immediate danger, but he likely wont "make old bones", as folk like to say on here. 66 now, so the clock is ticking...

    Political Frailty

Since you've posted the thumbnail, here's a pic of a Telegraph obit from 2007... As she is apparently dead, according to Labour folk, I'm going with Crap Research at the Echo for 10...

    Political Frailty

When I saw it, it appeared to have a photo of Fiona Jones, the late Labour MP, instead of Ms Butler - unless they were twins, of course.

    William Gladstone Stewart

I don't know: Sandi Toksvig might be more chummy to the contestants, but she's just not got the good old atmosphere of a public court martial like the old WGS series did...

I know what you mean, but LOL at the idea of a 94 year old dude being a shock death anyhow.

    Thoughts On The 2017 List

If you believe in modern stats coincidences, Honor blackman/Liz Dawn/Leah Bracknell/Betty White/Jill Gascoine will all be dead by January 1st 2019. Cmme very good at sniffing out "soon to be dead" actresses.

    Rodrigo Duterte

According to Wiki, first Bond film not to be based on a Fleming. Cool. Aye, the house was where he shagged other folks wives or something like that.

Also, depends what her doctors told her about the baby's likely survival odds.

    Rodrigo Duterte

I was thinking of the video game. Wasting whole bunch of red shirts with the RCP90. Nice stress relief back in the day. I know there's modern and better examples but I'm bloody out of touch!

    Rodrigo Duterte

He plays at being President as though it's a secret level on GoldenEye.
  17. William G Stewart was shortlisted for 2017 too. Teddy Taylor was on the long list for 2016 but only off one or two lists tops so circa 20 points. But yeah, them's the breaks.
  18. Yeah, I went to edit him too only to see he wasn't on the list. I suppose with thousands of names mentioned on here regularly, and only 50 spots, it's a surprise that doesn't happen more often, tbh.
  19. Was convinced Bettencourt was on the list. As she got axed due to the 25 names from the previous year rule, that'll explain it. Knew one of them would go - sods law. Bettencourt, WGS, Teddy Taylor - what is it with my migraines and a flood of celeb deaths in their wake...
  20. I mean, no offence intended, of course, but I now imagine that even if there was a truly wonderful occasion, TheOldLady would be there to dampen it down. Like, someone's given birth to a new baby child, and there she is, warning about child mortality rates! Or it's a sunny day in the UK, and there's the skin cancer warning!
  21. Sorry to hear about your grandad (RIP), hope your dad and his sister both better soon, good you got to see the Foos again (I missed out on my favourite bands when they were active) and sorry to hear that brother in law (?) you hate hasn't yet been eaten by a crocodile yet. I think thats everything in order, there. Also, cable car? London? What's the point of that!

    Political Frailty

Not a surprise as I think I mentioned on here a year or two ago he'd looked really frail on something. Beaten by a Maxton. Alas, a money grabbing Maxton. Jimmy would have turned in his grave!

    Thoughts On The 2017 List

Remember my (only) rule of Deathlist. Never 11 without the 12. There'll be one more hit this year at the very least.
