I like to be first with the news gossip. A woman with blonde hair is “on advanced life support” after being transported to hospital from Tiger Woods' Florida home. -

O.J not O.K? -
I was wondering if anyone else would be up for dropping in to DL Chat shortly after midnight on New Years Day? Everyone welcome, just bring a bottle.

Did he actually take it on his latest iNokia Phone and post it on youtube? If so I'd like to know which funding body! Note to Farmer DDT. Is that the site I sent you ages ago for reasons I forget (I remember it being to do with some Armageddon or another and most probably a googlethon)? Hello! I'm not an agricultural professional, but I presume you're referring to me... Yes, that's the site. Did I ever tell you that I won a hundred tins of butter from those nice people to help myself prepare for the end of days? So now at least I can sleep well at night, knowing that if I should happen to survive the impending apocalpyse, then I can have an utterly butterly breakfast. They even gave me a free tin opener. The forum on that site is a bit on the"Montana Militia" side, if you get my drift. Best stop waffling now, before SC starts convulsing and frothing at the mouth over this blatant off topic banter.

Long overdue update on the health of Winston Churchill. He is receiving chemotherapy for prosate cancer. As discussed here before, chemotherapy is only used in cases of prostate cancer if the condition is very advanced or has spread elsewhere.

I've thought of a few, Steve Guppy -Started out at Wycombe Wanders when they were non-league, played for England Barry Hayles - Began at Stevenage, later capped by Jamaica Paul Furlong - Played for Enfield, before gracing the Premiership with Coventry and Chelsea, not sure if he was ever capped? Michael Kightly - Now a winger for Wolves in the Premiership, he got there the hard way playing non league football for Basildon, Southend, Farnborough and Grays Athletic before finally hitting the big time. Has played for England under 21s. Dwayne Lee managed to get capped by Grenada when he was playing for non-league Exeter City (God knows how - he was really dreadful)

Colleen McCullough to undergo brain surgery. Nothing malignant unfortunately, but she is suffering from a condition called trigeminal neuralgia, which Wikipedia helpfully tells us is "known as "the suicide disease" because it causes one of the most severe pains that a human being can experience"... -

April 1st, a boy called Octavian, 7lbs 10oz. Many congratulations to OoO and Mrs OoO. -
Continuing the dead royals theme, Princess Ferial of Egypt, is no more. Continuing, but slightly deviating from the horse/s in song titles theme, Eric Boswell, who wrote popular Christmas carol 'Little Donkey', has died. Also, rather oddly as I only mentioned her in passing on DL 48hours ago, American singer Q Lazzarus, responsible for the glorious 80s gem (which appeared on The Silence Of The Lambs soundtrack), died on Nov 26th according to her Wiki page, not that I can find any other confirmation of this sad news. She wouldn't have been very old.
