That is good. You know, in all seriousness for once, when Mandela passes away, I think there will be a lot of bloodshed in South Africa. He is holding the country together as a figurehead but once he is gone it will all just boil to the surface, (this on top of the current crime problems, endemic AIDS epidemic and crumbling health system. ) Mandela isn't holding the country together. He left the political stage years ago. Indeed, he hasn't been in the thick of things for some time, shame cause the present lot in SA are a right sorry bunch, their handling of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in particular was unforgivable. His passing will be a big deal, can expect a full state funeral with all major world leaders in attendance I meant as a purely symbolic figurehead. I think once that figurehead goes, all hell will break loose there. That makes no sense. He has made his contribution, he has retired, and has been out of public life since 2004. Thats like saying all hell should have broken loose in Britain after Churchill died. In the context of South Africa's history, and Nelson Mandela's place in it, it makes all sort of sense. Ok then, who will play up when Mandela - the old man who has been absent from the political scene for over a decade - dies at the age of 92/3 years?

In this case it was a bloke. I'm not Windsor!! Explain.

Queen Victoria died 110 years ago today.

I'm stealing a joke from some American comedian woman. Zsa Zsa Gabor is selling her house because she feels its just too big now that her shoe collection has halved. BOOM! It was funnier when she typed it...

Staying with bigoted preachers, the loathsome Fred Phelps surely (hopefully?) can't be much longer for this world, 81 now. When he does croak, I hope a load of people turn up to picket his funeral, see how he and his fucking pathetic congregation like it. I found this in response to Phelps' plans to picket the funerals of the Arizona shooting victims.

Shit at 'Math'? Is that like being shit at 'Englis'? Don't you mean 'maths'? Anyway, from the Grauniad: No its like being shit at English, but with numbers instead. Stop being an asshol about it. It would appear that Mrs Johnson is a dirty skank. Lets hope he used protection. I'll get my coat...

Do any of the hacks who frequent this forum know what Alan Johnson's "personal reasons" were for resigning his post as shadow chancellor? Was he shagging someone else, or was his wife shagging someone else? Or was he just shit at Math?

I have one unique pick. Robert Salmond, father of Alex. According to the Scottish Register of Births, Robert turns 90 years old this year.

Both of my teams are up. Good work, TMIB. Sadly I'm already trailing 3 deaths behind the current front runner.

He is probably hoping for a reality TV show...on MTV...like the Osbournes.

We know more about her health than she does. Although the media were told about the amputation, Gabor has yet to be informed.

Its a pity she didn't have the operation in the UK. The MRSA would've got her....

unidentifiable illness is always a good sign (for us). I'm sure he'll last until around september though at least, and could even make it to 2012 and beyond. Released from hospital. His people are saying that the problems were nothing serious. Back in with fever...maybe serious. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/on...hospitalized-/1 Out of hospital again. He should be shaking all about now. Lets hope its a seizure...

If she dies due to complications, how about 'Zsa Zsa rests in pieces'?

The former Bishop of Portsmouth, the Rt Rev. Kenneth Stevenson, has lost his long battle against cancer aged 61 years.

Just as he was sure to last year and the year before! I've kept the faith and kept him as my DDP joker...for the third year running. That goes some way to answering your question. Indeed Windsor, so I am guessing he will be your joker in 2012 too . I do hope you don't have my joker in your pool, he is a member of the aristocracy though and might appeal to you, nothing online about him since December 2009 but local knowledge tells me that treatment stopped last April and nothing more can be done. I don't. Although he does seem to be a rather popular pick this year...which is probably bad news for me. Guy Innes-Ker, 10th Duke of Roxburghe? He was in my shadow list last year, along side the late Duke of Hamilton. I dropped Roxburghe due to lack of news.

It was her mother. She has always wanted to appear in a Crimewatch reconstruction. She has the most to gain from this murder...

Not that I mean to split hairs, but Betty Ford turns 93 in April. The DL frontpage lists her as 95.

Dodgy soap stars? Lou Beale from Eastender and Jack Duckworth from Coronation Street are legends of two prominent soaps. We should only start to worry when actors from Emmerdale or Hollyoaks are put on the list. As for Geoffrey Hughes, although he was a relatively minor character in Coronation Street, he is a rather big name when you consider his more recent roles in 'Keeping up Appearances' and 'The Royale Family' (deathlisters will note he wasn't in this years (2010) Christmas special).

That could be a disaster for very many deadpoolers. Maybe sticking with Al Megrahi as my joker wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Will you post a photo of with him wearing the t-shirt? I would love to see a photo of Ronnie Biggs with a DeathList shirt on the front page of the site one day. That seems to be a fair deal. The site gets the publicity, and Ronnie gets to be all smug for still being alive.
