Its being reported that Bob Geldolf has died.... ...aged 96.

Was that one of the rejected ideas for the opening Big Brother theme?

I need five from 2006 - thats the closest I come to a clean sweep. Norodom Sihanouk, Anna Wing, Ronnie Biggs, Rev. Billy Graham, Zsa Zsa Gabor.

LOL Crisp n' Dry-surely you'd be smelling like a chip shop for days!! Battered sausage...

If 'Murder She Wrote' teaches us anything, its not to invite Jessica Fletcher to any event under any circumstances. She always brings a bad crowd, and someone always ends up dead. And her jokes are shit too.

I came here because I had no friends. I still don't, and thus I'm still here.

Do you mean tits as in boobs, or tits as in annoying fuckers?

Any Tory politician.

Harold Dow has died aged 62. Not a big name in the UK, but I'm assuming he is well known in the US. Once again, I can remember him being metioned on this site a couple of years back. Edit: Actually - given that he died suddenly - I think I must be thinking of someone else.

Happy 50th Birthday, time. Best of luck for the next 50. -
FFS!! Who needs a celebrity relic this badly? I can understand why someone might try and sell Elvis Pressley's toilet for $1,000,000, but not his.

There would appear to be a very tight election underway in Australia with the Liberals predicted to have a one seat lead over Labor, with 5 seats going to the other parties. So who will be Prime Minister? Tony Abott for the blues, or Julia Gillard for the reds? Personally, I think that Julia (the Rudd murderer) will come out on top due to the Green vote (even though this only gives her one seat and makes it even Stevens. Any guesses from down under?

What about those of us who have been stuck on option 3 for five years?

Maybe I'm just in a funny mood, but the last couple of weeks have been as depressing, post-wise, as any since I've been here. Not helped by the death drought I know, but it's mostly crap newbies talking crap. At least Godot stuck around - I love that post. You were a newbie once.

This explains why Japan has had such a good record for long life. Turns out they just have a very bad record of benefit theft. Another one found dead...in her son's backpack.

Her husband has now collapsed. Unfortunately its nothing serious.

Esteban was in all the Texas papers. Should've picked the Dallas Morning News, that bastion of journalistic excellence, otherwise known as the Dallas Cowboys Weekly. The Dallas Morning News sounds reputable. I think we should add them to the list. Looks like I'll have to head off to Legacy.com to bribe the site manager with some sexy pictures...

I'll get some points for Edwin Morgan, which will cheer me up after the Esteban Jordan obit failure.

Only my fourth DDP hit of the year, and first hit since May. A slow start, but I did get 5 hits between 11th August and 31st December last year, so fingers crossed...

He was shit.

A seasonal sweep on the side then? Not much else to than to do than watch this develop over the next 2 weeks. I'll kick off with the obvious Dec 25th. I'll dedicate a cracker to him.... by chucking it straight on the compost heap. Come on Santa... give us a nice present May I refer you to page 3 of this thread post number 45. Getting this close to the end and adding more guesses now would not be fair on those who guessed 4 months ago. But if anyone would like to have a second go, should Megrahi live beyond noon on the 6th of January next year, that would I think be in order. However we must consider Vaagy to still be the moral winner on this and these spoils will be for "2nd" place. I thank you. Guess away for this if you must. Cut and paste of current situation: 14th Nov = themaninblack 21st Dec = heaven can wait - "your honour till noon on the 27th Dec'." 1st Jan = maryportfuncity 11th Jan = Vaagheid (Vaagy wins if Al-Megrahi lives beyond noon on the 6th January 2010) Do you think we should have another sweep? Mind you, there is a 21st December this year. I think he will outlive the SNP Government that set him free...so he is safe until May 2011 when the Labour Party sweep back into power in Scotland.

Happy Birthday, Josco. -
Michael... who?! And yes, I did check the guy's wikipage and none of those cheap crappy sh*te movies and series rang any bell here. (His death would incite a wonderful pun, though...) I might as well nominate Brittany Murphy, were it not that she seemed an adorable girl. Can't blame her for being talentless after all. I was surprised to learn that our favourite witch, Dame Thatcher, wasn't on the list. An internet poll, eh? regards, Hein She's not a celebrity - she is classed as a religious fugure...being the devil incarnate.

The Great British Public seem to have made their feelings towards Jordan quite clear. I'm surprised that nobody thought to mention that reprehensible bastard Kilroy-Silk or the equally loathsome Nick Griffin. Or the equally disgusting Jade Goody.
