Happy New Year to you all when it comes.
-
I left Wendy Richard in my DDP. My apologies to those of you who left Richard in your teams...
-
He could be dead. There is certainly an above average amount of people on the site at the minute. Then again, they could be fishing for picks for their DDP...

Not strictly true, Winnie old man - you can get a blow job for a fiver off my mum. I see. Does she take Woolies vouchers?
-
Fraserburgh's branch of Woolworths died today. The good news for the townspeople is that they will all become richer, as there is nowhere else in the town for them to spend their money.

One of my Aunts gave me one of those modern crucifix necklace things. Insulting on two levels: 1: I'm not fashionable enough for that kind of 'hip' modern nonsense. 2: I've become known for my atheism in recent years. That was probably the only bad present I got this year. (I didn't get any Woolies vouchers)

We need one of them at work. The one we currently have has been broken for ages. How they expect me to make lump-free potatoes with a broken mixer I'll never know. Then again, given that I had to buy my own tattie peeler, I don't hold out much hope of them purchasing state of the art equipment.

To be honest, I think we have had our lot for the year. I do however think that of the above named people, Billy Graham will be next to die.

I think someones been watching too much Fox News....

Harold Pinter is the 14th success of 2008. He is the 174th success since 1987. The 2008 list is now in 1st place shared with 2003, out of a possible 22 lists. A good year. Hopefully we can squeeze one more in before the 1st January.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2008

Ruin Christmas. I wonder what that man would do if I told the children that Jesus isn't true... -
Are you going to tell us who the lucky recipient of that Woolworths voucher is going to be? You know me too well.
-
Merry Christmas to all Deathlist Members, Moderators and Admin. Hope Santa is good to you all... I will be working from 7.30am, so it will just be another day for me (except for the double pay).

I'm devestated. I found a Woolies gift card at the back of wallet which I forgot to use. I was in my local Woolies today (looking for a tattie peeler), and was surprised at how little there is left. So keen for a bargain are the people of Fraserburgh that they have even bought some of the fixtures and fittings. One wall was exposed down to the brick work. I never found my tattie peeler - I had to go to the Co-op instead...

How exactly does 'nude' equate to whore? You don't have to take off your clothes to be a whore. Just ask any rapist and they'll back me up. Wasn't one of Noah's sons called Ham? Who cares about his cousin? Admittedly none of my cousins are mass murderers of the Kenyan Orange Party. You are perhaps forgetting that Obama was brought up with values of the West, by his mother's family. Hw wasn't brought up in Kenya. Besides, everybody knows that Barrack O'Bama is Irish...
-
Well. Thats something to look forward to...

And, of course, that horrible rumour that he fondles little boys...

I'm sure there will be plenty of 'public' holidays in 2009. Not least for Woolworths staff, and many many bankers.
-
I submitted my team a couple of days ago. I didn't go with that skin cancer woman (something I will probably regret when I see the list of picks), and completely forgot about Fidel Castro.
-
The Emperor of Japan is said to be stressed. Perhaps we have found the real identity of OoO.
-
OK - this really isn't meant to be snarky. I'm genuinely confused as to how you forget to close out her accounts. Yes - looking back on it, it was a stupid thing to forget. But I suppose there was just no rush for the money, so we didn't get round to it.

Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries ,etc ...for 2008

Happy Birthday harrymcnally. -
When my grandma died a couple of years ago, we forgot to close her bank accounts. Thus all her bank statements continued to go to her former residence. I went to her bank today to close her account. Turns out in March of this year, the bank replaced her old cash card, sending a new one to her former address. It would appear that the residents of her former address have been helping themselves to her money since the new card was sent to them. They were probably guessing that a lady who had been dead for two and a half years would not make a fuss about it. They did not bank on the fact that her grandson was a tight-fisted student.

President (recumbent) Barack Obama

No, not at all. I just didn't expect Bevel to live so long. I also thought pancreatic cancer was a suitable punishment for the crimes he committed. If he were still living he would still be on there. Everything is always bound to change. Susan Atkins will probably be the next to go. Indeed. But hopefully after the 1st January! Do I read this as "hopefully after the 1st January".....but preferably ON the 1st January? She could die on the 1st January or 31st December 2009 or any date in between. I'm not too fussy... (unless dying on the 1st January counts as party pooping?).
