Don't know about Evolution, but I recently saw a documentary which seemed to sort of agree with scientology. The overall theory is that aliens are responsible for civilization. One theory suggested that these aliens were the Gods of the bible who created man in their own image. A secomdary theory is that the aliens mated with human women which caused the comparatively quick change from primative man to civil man. I thought that there was very little evidence to support this claim. They had a mis-shapen skull which, in my opinion, proves nothing. The skull was only 900 years old. Lots to do with the pyramids etc. The documentary did, however, convince me that the Egyptians may have invented electricity. But then I suppose it depends on how much of what they were saying was coming from nutters.

Mothers who travel in twos, side by side with prams. I had to go down the road today to the bank, so I walked. Anyway, on my way home, I was walking on the pavement of a quite busy road (parents were picking up their kids from school). As I was walking, I saw two pram pushing chavs, side by side, dominating the pavement. I couldn't step off the pavement because of the traffic and their was a wall at the other side. But still they kept pushing at quite some pace. In the end I had to squeeze past them (sidey-ways) on the wall side - they made no attempt to slow down. Complete arseholes. Edit: Also those tiny wee beasties who come out with the sun. I must have had about 100 of them on me by the time I got home. As well as that, the rising cost of Lucozade. Two years ago I could get a small bottle for 69p. Now, it cost me 83p. Bloody price rises. If only I had real things to worry about...

I wouldn't bother if I were you. You are going to be banned soon anyway.

Heven can wait. I foolishly took him off my DDP this year so I demand that he lives until 2008 so I can score 5 or so points!

It is not my responsibility at all. I will post pathetically, cheaply, soullessly and predictably if I so wish. Bet you didn't see that one coming, did you? Not like you set it up or anything.

That's why I'll stick to social science. Real science is too hard.

Probably Lady Die. She's ancient.
-
Amy Winehouse. She can't handle herself as well as Doherty can.

How cute. Now go away.

We all have to die of something. Can't see how dying from a nosebleed is careless, but oh well, Well careless that he didn't notice it, but also i find it rather funny especially if you think about what Mr Hun was like. Why hasn't iain been banned yet?

I think you will find it is a planned convention rather than conference. I only used the term "conference call" because I couldn't think of any other way of putting it. But let me rephrase... Would anyone like to be hooked up via the phone to the COnvention/conference/whatever it is? Whatever. I still think that you are taking this meeting out of its original context. Then again, I'm not the organiser - nor am I going. So remember to have fun.
-
Some people are taking this 'conference' a bit too seriously. I was under the impression that it was just friends gathering for a drink.

Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries ,etc ...for 2007

Happy Birthday HCW. -
Quite right Winnie, turning up for a first date in your work uniform is really bad form. As well as that, I probably wouldn't have smelt that great given I had been working in a kitchen all day. So lets recap. I got the message at 9.25PM. I would have to have a shower and get changed (+1 hour) Get transport there (+1hr 30mins+). I'd be in Aberdeen for around 11.55PM with no way of getting home until 6AM the following morning. As well as all that, I made it as clearly as I politely could, that I did not really want to meet up.
-
Windsor- I'll be in Ma Cameron's in Little Belmont St. in about half an hour. I expect you to be there too. Did he show? Given that I got the message 3 hours late, no. Well I was still there three hours later, you know. I live an hour and a half from the city centre. Plus I was still in my work uniform.

Oh my, what a greedy bitch.
-
I always give newbies a hard time. Now that you are not so new, I'll tolerate you.

Good idea. You may also try following your own advice and choose to wait for official confirmation.

Most Significant Death For Every Year From 1963 To Present
Windsor replied to chicago103's topic in DeathList Forum
I would say Brooke Astor is the most significant person to die in 2007. Even though I'm not sure exactly who she is. Not Boris Yeltsin? -
My sig is a direct quote. I know it doesn't read well, but she has done a better job than most women born in poverty in the 1830s...

Not meaning to be a moaning Minnie, but Lord Deedes was 94. The DL front page has him as 92 years old. Might want to keep that in mind for his write-up.

Happy Birthday Josco. -
W. Mark Felt. Looks pretty lonely on the list now...

Bill Deedes is the 9th success of 2007. He is the 159th since 1987. The 2007 list is now in 9th place shared with 1994, 1995 and 1997 out of 21 lists.
