    Near Misses for 2005

Ah - as easy as that. I shall give it a go when I find something.

    King Fahd Of Saudi Arabia

Well perhaps these figures are closest to death now that you ask : 1: King-Father Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia, b.1922 (suffers from cancer). 2: Malietoa Tanumafili II of Samoa, b.1913 3: Taufa'ahau Tupou II of Tonga (existing thread) b.1918 4: Former King Muhmmad Zahir Shah of Afghanistan, b.1914 Outsiders: 1: Major Bruce Shand (Camilla's Father), b.1917 2: Bhumibol Aduljadej, b.1927 (longest reigning living monarch in the world)

Now thats just being sick. Although we want her to die - we would never beat her to death! What kind of sick morbid c-word are you!? Beating up old ladies!

    Near Misses for 2005

I would but I'm not very good with technology. How does one send a link exactly?

If you think you've got it bad, I see dead people.

    Hildegarde

I read about a woman who died on her 100th Birthday. She was really looking forward to receiveing her telegram from the Queen but was dead before the Lord Lieutenant dropped it off. The family got to keep the card and said they would treasure it in her memory...I'm thinking e-Bay.

He had an outing today - a scout jamboree thing. Looking for pictures - will post if found.

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia (b.1924).

    King Fahd Of Saudi Arabia

What are the chances of his successor being assassinated over another more popular claim to the throne?

Damn! - You've destroyed my thread. Oh well - it wasn't very successful anyway.

    Fidel Castro

What exactly is Cuba's game? I read somewhere that the US is very close to removing Castro from power. Perhaps it will be a case of more exploding cigars.

    Ronnie Biggs

When I think of Robert Excell (which isn't very often) I'm somehow reminded of the pink duracell rabbits. I don't know why.

Just an update - the British Empire does not exist anymore. We now prefer the term Commonwealth whereby Britain has no direct rule. By the way, I'm led to believe that Ireland was not and is not part of the Empire but indeed part of the Kingdom (there is a difference).

I noticed that both Prince Rainier and King Fahd were not listed. How careless. You really must put on either King-Father Sihanouk or Zahir Shah next year (I'd go with Sihanouk).

Iain once spoke back to me so I'm going to be particularly childish here. Haha Iain.

Sorry you guys but if I get told off for not using the above pinned threads surely iain should.
  17. Hell no - that was my insurance policy should I get attacked for being associated with such a site (yet here I am on the deathlist forum).
  18. Whilst waiting on a death one could always go clothes shopping for a t-shirt say at www.tshirthell.com Some of these are vile.

I hate unregistered people who have premonitions. 9/10 they are wrong. (Is this another joke which I have failed to notice again)

    The Osmonds

Closet Osmond fans? Although I can understand why they may wish to remain closet fans, I can not quite grasp the concept of 'Osmond fans'. Perhaps one would have to have been there to understand. I'm getting a bit fed up of guests telling me to get a job as well

European central bank head found dead in pool

Police said the 70-year old's body was found in a swimming pool. Looks like they'll be questioning Barrymore

    Ronnie Biggs

I was reading in a Sunday news paper (The Star (not my usual paper (reliable I know))) that Ronnie Biggs will be released from prison very shortly to be put either in a hospital or a home to die. It is said that this will happen in the next few days so with any luck... But don't hold your breath.

How about using the already existing possibilities for 2006 thread?

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2006

OK then, you don't like Zahir Shah (1 memtion only in DDP). How about the former King of Cambodia King Sihanouk. He is a very ill man having abdicated recently. He has cancer which is said to have worsened in recent months. Sihanouk was ruler of Cambodia on and off for over 60 years. He has not even been mentioned in DDP. (Where is Earl Gloomy when you need him)

    Margaret Thatcher

Probably. After all she has had two boosts this year - the death of Callaghan and the death of Heath.
