The way Bush is going he will probably be able to convince his people that the terrorist threat is too great and so the President will rule by emergency decree whereby elections may be put off. Thus he will be a dictator and rule for quite some time. Is this too far fetched?

Might I say that that was a very touching tribute to the late Sir Edward Heath. Come to think of it, its the only tribute I've seen for him.

I think Saddam should be an acceptable entrant to the 2006 list. Afterall, he was included in the 1991 list during the first Gulf War (or there abouts) which is almost the same circumstances as now.

By my counting (which isnt very great) Sir Edward Heath, KG is our 132nd success since 1987. With Heath's death Death List 2005 is now the 10th most successful list (shared with 1996). So we are not doing too badly now.
