Lord Barnett, the Labour Cabinet Minister who drew up the Barnett Formula, has died aged 91. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-29877123

Ah well. This time next week he'll be in custody.

In light of recent events, it may be advantageous if I change my DDP name. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-29678989 Regards, Windsor the Troll

Our family dog Mckenzie was put to sleep yesterday evening aged 12.

Worth sticking him on the list for the prospect of a father, son, and grandson hit (over a 20 year period).

Now Cameron's in trouble with the old gal over that remark: http://www.abc.net.a...-remark/5769876 Turns out she has more in common with George Galloway than any of us could ever have imagined...

Alex Salmond walks into a bar in Scotland... ...oh, I mean the United Kingdom.

The 45%, and the pish they are flooding social media with. Just to give an example: Fucking chav.

Ironic former Yes voters are coming out under '45' slogan. Didn't go too well for them last time patriots came out for the '45...

It has been said Aberdeenshire looks to be 60-40 for no - Salmond's backyard...

Rob Ford is suffering from a 'fairly aggressive' form of colon cancer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-29247818 He is, though, optimistic about his treatment.

It all sounds fishy to me. regards, Hein I'd say there's always a bigger fish in the sea, but then again...

I always quite liked Douglas. I did think that he might be reasonably well positioned if (when) Ed gets the boot. If Scotland break away that won't happen. Some people have tried to link David Cameron's job to the outcome of the referenndum but will Alex Salmond step down as First Minister if there is a No vote? He just strikes me as largely incompetent. Luckily it is easily disguised given that he is in Ed Miliband's cabinet. If Miliband goes get the boot, I'd prefer Balls to take over. Not least because it would make PMQ's infinitely more entertaining. Salmond probably will quit in the result of a No vote. He has resigned due to political failure in the past. As well as that, it has been said that behind the scenes Sturgeon is doing her best impression of Gordon Brown when Blair was PM.

Hehe, if it's a son, they'll call him Duncan or Malcolm. Seriously don't rule out James.... Too catholic... Apparently alongside Henry it is leading the early betting. However the fact that Viscount Severn is called James probably will go against it. Victoria and Elizabeth for the girls. Diana...

You know the No campaign is failing when someone like me is even beginning to think that independence wouldn't be all that bad. Most people are struggling to understand why the polls have narrowed so dramatically. I know the answer: Douglas Alexander. Douglas Alexander is the biggest fuck up on the Scottish political scene since his sister Wendy. Having said that, had people taken Wendy seriously when she suggested backing the referendum a number of years back, we would all now probably be living in a post-referendum UK. So maybe she wasn't that much of a fuck up after all. Douglas is definitely a fuck up though.

Given that the woman was a prostitute, surely if you swabbed her clothing you would find DNA for half of the population of London.

I don't really understand why everyone is looking to the Queen to intervene in this political matter. After all, isn't that what the Prince of Wales is for?
-
It will be a no vote. If it looks like a Yes result, surely our oppressors at Westminster will just rig the vote...because we're all so hard done by.

You never told us you were Scottish!

What happened to DDT? Er....... pretty much what it says there? He chucked his toys out of the pram and left after a thing where myself and charon were arguing over something and he decided to delete my posts saying they were "immature", and then I called him a twat for deleting them. I see. Have I missed any other notable fights in my absence? Any other casualties? Er..... dunno. None off the top of my head. Unless you count our spirits for this year which were dented when Ariel Sharon died 11 days after being taken off the front page, and then officially died when General Jaruzelski, who was somehow left off the list (and mine.... fuck) snuffed it on May 25. Glad to see I'm not the only one having a shit DDP-ing year. Only two hits in my DDP! Although I did have the General...and Sharon and Attenborough were in my Top 50...but still a poor show on last year. I blame modern medicine.

Speaking about the almost 70 years of marriage... Sheila Sim - or Lady Attenborough - will be 93 years old on her next birthday. She has been confirmed as suffering from dementia from the time of her 90th Birthday. Perhaps an easy pick for the 2015 DDP...if she lasts.
