Who Should Be On The 2013 Deathlist?
Windsor replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
I'm pretty sure they listened to me last year...and put Robert Mugabe on the list. Oops. -
Bush Snr is in intensive care. BBC article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-20848729

I've submitted both my normal team and my theme team. I don't have high hopes.
-
Ah well. I do like a good funeral.
-
He is being released from hospital for "home-based care". At least it wasn't B&Q-based care... I'm here all week:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-20847643
-
Well...he was one I was hoping to keep quiet.
-
Don'y know how you can get to lists of over 100 people. I struggle to get 50.
-
Given that nobody has yet died in 2013, I find it very difficult to choose.
-
Anne Williams will be on my team. I'll agree to remove her only if she is disqualified as a pick due to DDP rules...which I'd welcome.

Nah, that's just people dicking about on Twitter. From what I'm hearing, it won't be a "happy Christmas, Ange" for the guy who has been arrested today. Do we know who it is yet? Hmmmm! Maybe my old minds playing tricks on me, but didn't he do time for murder/manslaughter in Germany in the 70's/80's? Wikipedia says yes. He's a convicted murderer.

Is Jo Bryant still living?
-
I don't like picks like him. My DDP is full of them which, quite frankly, cheapens the game. I'm sure that most people agree, but pick them anyway to stand a chance of having a ranking.

Ha...ha....ha...harsehole.

Whats the ruliing on Saif al-Islam? Will we still get points if he is executed? No ruling has been made yet.

A local one from a couple of weeks back: An old man heard a knock at his door. He went over to the window to see who it was. Upon seeing it was jehovah witnesses, he quickly stepped back from the window to try and hide from them. When he stepped back, he tripped over his oxygen mask, fell to the ground, and broke his hip. He died in hospital a few days later. DEATH BY JEHOVAH WITNESS!

You shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet.

Curses I think any of us who thought that was going to be a unique pick in the 2013 DDP were being a little optimistic. You can't put her on your DDP. If the people of Liverpool found out, you'd never hear the end of it. They do enjoy being victims... That's from a Scotsman... I'm a Unionist...we're not as bad as the other lot. -

"Barry Chuckle still isn't dead" Thats the same story from 2010. I noticed it was the number 1 read article on the BBC news website last night...

I generally don't mind a death being posted in two different places. What does annoy me is when: 1) A death is reported for a second time in the same thread, about two posts down from the first post. 2) Someone posts about a death about two weeks after it has first been reported and discussed. 3) If one person posts/reports a death in multiple threads. Genuine errors don't really bother me. I think we should keep the Dead of 2012 thread, mainly because not every celebrity has a thread of their own...and I've always been told that creating a new thread for a newly dead celebrity is frowned upon by management...(they are no use to us dead so why have a thread to discuss it).

Search option as outlined above - http://www.deathlist...ndpost&p=178871 Both of you should have used the search option. News of his death was posted here yesterday. I've said this before, but I think all deaths should be recorded in the "Dead of (current year)" thread. That way, we have a comprehensive record of the year's deaths in one place. Wikipedia?

Saw McAlpine's interview on the news tonight. He doesn't sound too healthy.
