    Deathlist Merch

If we had this DL-style, I'd definitely order one... deadly thongs?...
  2. Hallowe'en rocks. The problem is that the British do NOT know how to celebrate it, so all you end up with is groups of teenagers wandering around wearing Scream masks. The true spirit of Hallowe'en involves loads of children in all manner of fabulous costumes, all of which have been made big enough to accommodate a snowsuit should it be needed. Then, a lot of trudging and singing for candy occurs, regardless of the temperature. The singing should follow along these lines: Trick or Treat, Smell my Feet, Give me something good to eat! Not too big, not too small, Just the size of Montreal! And once you've got a pillowcase full of tastiness, you run home because it's f*cking freezing, and then your parent(s) trawl your haul to check for homemade items, and then you eat as much as possible in one go and make yourself ill. Ah, the memories...

But you have not yet voted for him in the Who's next poll. Well noted! I, um, forgot that there'd be a new poll now. Anyway, done and dusted.

    The Remakable Banshees Scream

And BTW - it will come as no surprise that I support BS's belief in the great CLS. A few weeks ago I committed myself, in writing no less, to the prediction that Claude will in fact attain DL Graduate Glory between Nov 15th - Dec 15th. I was hesitant to admit this to anyone else lest it not come to pass. But let's face it... it will.

600! Well posted! May I take this auspiciously occasional opportunity to tell you of a book I heard about on the local public radio station a few weeks back: I immediately thought of you. The author was really interesting to listen to being interviewed; she sounded like she'd write a great book.

Ah, and what a healthy family environment this ranter has come from. One wonders why s/he has such a problem with the site...

Weyhey! Not bad at all! Our 11th of the year, but our 4th DL first-timer. Seems like our admin team was rather on the ball with the selection this year.

    RFC 616

How fabulous - snaps! Is there any possibility for having some form of 'wildcard' points for rants that are really really funny? I mean, you know how sometimes you read a rant and it's well, just a rant, and then sometimes you read one and it's SO rantsome that it's actually hilarious? Not sure which threadit was in, but I remember a while ago reading a rant that was just SO random and SO outrageous (and of course met a number of DLRI616 criteria) that it actually made me laugh out loud. Just a thought. Can't go wrong with a bit of humour now and again.

    The Deathlist Howto

A fabulously useful thread which I've already made use of. (The dead Pope also thanks you, BTW). Happy Twunting!

    Pope John Paul

I was in a local shop today and JP2's voice called out to me from beyond grave. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to post images in posts, so I can't share with y'all his words of wisdom from beyond. Can anyone help me? I highly recommend seeing the card I found - it's tres amusant.

Trial to start today, but late SH hopes for a 3-month adjournment to 'prepare his defense'. It's gonna take more than 3 months, luv.

    Princess Diana

Good. I have not previously joined in on this inter-forum commerraderie. But I couldn't I help noticing Elspeth's use of the skull . I reckon she's now hooked (200 posts by Christmas - do I have any takers?). Score then: 1 to DL, 0 to RF (unless windsor - sorry, Windsor - was considered a 1 to the RF, in which case it's DL 1 - RF 1, but as he was booted out (assumedly by our new forum-chum, the lovely Elspeth?) it's now a null point, in which case it IS DL 1 - RF 0). GO TEAM! Am procrastinating doing my work...

I thought I'd mention it because I went through the trauma of posting a double 0 and it went unnoticed. It started with an 8 . Belated Congrats on your 800th Post!! (Mr Shock was the closest thing I could find to fireworks)

    Elvis Presley

Undoubtedly there is, but credit your DL colleagues with some intelligence, please. (OK, we are completely guttered a lot of the time but nonetheless, you do us a disservice Madam.) [grovel]Soz notapotato, wasn't trying to cause offense! Just thought some of the comments sounded a bit DL-like and then thought that maybe the troops had once again galvanised as per the Royal Forum site. And I didn't think a lot of the responses lacked intelligence, so I'm not sure what point you're making there, but again I do apologise most profusely. Unless, of course, I'm once again missing something?... I'm not always the most cleverest clog in the... um... (what are clogs usually in?)[/grovel]

    Elvis Presley

Whilst reading the responses to this article I couldn't help but wonder if they were written primarily by DLers. Not only because of the high % of Scots, but also because of comments such as and and not to mention a few posts which reminded me of our irate ranters: Is there something going on that I don't know about?
