    Muhammad Ali

The fact is that Parkinson's progresses over time and largely reduces life expectancy. Ali has been showing symptoms of Parkinson's since he was 38, and he is now in his early 70's. Doesn't matter how hard he can punch me in the gut.

I'd be surprised if he made it to 75. I'd definitely keep on eye on him, even if he's not on the brink of death.

    Political Frailty

I was just about to post the same story. I'll definitely watch this, but don't be surprised if it's to cover something up. Jackson has been under scrutiny before. It's depession. http://www.foxnews.c...for-depression/ And for "gastrointestinal issues" apparently, which could be something to look into. We're definitely not getting the full story, but I don't think it's an addiction to something.

Can you tell the future, angryGreatness? http://ww2.ajcmobile...ic-1486023.html I wish. My DDP score would be much better.

    Michael Jackson

She had been found safe and unwell in Arizona. Do I hear the chisels carving her name into the 2013 tablets? Katherine Jackson is back home, and laughing at reports she's suffered a stroke. Do I hear the sound of men grumbling about how hard it is to erase something off of a stone tablet?

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

She'll probably get a Daily Mail obit at least. Also if Ed mentions his wife's death on air I believe that counts as coverage of her death by a major news organization. If caught early, ovarian cancer is one of the least dangerous cancers. If caught later, it's usually already in Stage III or IV.

    Billy Graham

Can't believe this asshole... Leave us alone! Die already and save all of us gays from your bigotry. Sad thing is when he does finally die every news source in America will treat him like one of this nation's finest heroes, only briefly mentioning the Jews conversation with Nixon and his shitty treatment of gay people.

    Billy Graham

Breaks retirement once again to defend Chick-fil-A amid anti-gay marriage controversy. Graham will make a public appearance at a Chick-fil-A on August 1st. Keep in mind if he eats anything while he's there he'll die of a heart attack on the spot.

Magic Johnson, And Other Basketball Players

Neil Reed, former player for Indiana University turned high school gym teacher apparently, has died of a sudden heart attack at 36. His only claim to fame is having Bob Knight during a practice in 1997.

    The Ones That Got Away...

Looking through Wikipedia for old American politicians, I took an interest in surviving members of presidential cabinets. The last member of the Kennedy administration died in 2010, but there are still a few members of the Johnson and Nixon administrations kicking around. Johnson (1963 - 1969) Attorney General (1967 - 1969) - Ramsey Clark (Born. 1927) (Currently employed by dictators on trial) Postmaster General (1968 - 1969) - W. Marvin Watson (Born. 1924) Secretary of Transportation (1967 - 1969) - Alan Stephenson Boyd (Born. 1922) (The first Transportation Secretary ever) Nixon (1969 - 1974) Secretary of State (1969 - 1977) - Henry Kissinger (Born. 1923) Secretary of the Treasury (1972 - 1974) & Secretary of Labor (1969 - 1970) - George P. Shultz (Born. 1920) (Also Reagan's Secretary of State) Secretary of Defense (1969 - 1973) - Melvin R. Laird (Born. 1922) Secretary of Defense (1974 - 1975) - James R. Schlesinger (Born. 1929) Secretary of Commerce (1972 - 1973) - Peter G. Peterson (Born. 1926) Secretary of Commerce (1973 - 1975) - Frederick B. Dent (Born. 1922) Secretary of Labor (1970 - 1973) - James D. Hodgson (Born. 1915) (Oldest living cabinet official)

African Leaders - Despots and Democratic

Should definitely be on the 2013 list should he hold out till then I don't think he's DeathList material, but I would put him on a DDP team. He's maybe not as famous (or infamous) as, say, Mugabe, but his passing would be of major significance in Africa and would generate a lot of press coverage internationally True, but his health is too-rumor based for a spot in my opinion.

The real-life person probably IS sick, otherwise he'd probably just say he's retiring. Still pretty convoluted.

    Astronauts

Well that came out of left field. Probably one of the biggest deaths of the year here in America. This of course means the list of living people mentioned in "We Didn't Start the Fire" shrinks to 8. (Queen Elizabeth II, Bridgette Bardot, Fidel Castro, Chubby Checker, Bob Dylan, John Glenn, Doris Day, and Bernard Goetz) Odd that Ride was the youngest of them.
