Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?
angryGreatness replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
This one appears to just be an argument between two people that hit a bystander. The only other one after Sandy Hook that I can remember was the one in California where the student was talked down after only injuring one person. So far there hasn't been a real mass shooting, just the occasional escalated argument. If they government is starting these shootings to spurn gun control, they're doing a shit job of it. -
It's beginning to look like a bad year for advice columnists as quickly joining her is Dolores Prida, the so-called "Latina Dear Abby" at age 69.

In fairness, Bush Sr. only got out of hospital like a week ago. Is it obligatory for all ex-leaders to attend? Not so much for the 2nd term.
-
Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. were not in attendance for President Obama's inauguration today. Take Note: Gerald Ford skipped Bush's 2nd inauguration in 2005.

Vera Lynn. Just a feeling.

Watching the Ravens-Patriots game tonight (Eat shit, Tom Brady!) alerted me to the case of O.J. Brigance, former Ravens linebacker and current senior player development adviser, who has been battling ALS since 2007 and can now only communicate via computer. Absolutely no chance of getting a British obit, but a worthy addition to any American-based dead pool. -
Barbara Walters has been hospitalized after falling down some stairs in the British Ambassador's home in Washington D.C.

Reuters.uk obit, a hit for 5 DDP teams and my first ShadowList hit.

I'm not entirely sure that she's dead. Although virtually unknown, you'd expect more than a single obit from the Huffington Post... Some one close to her would've come out and said otherwise by now.
-
So that's a definite "NO!" on having Huffing Post obits count then?

Link here. Still too late to make HuffPo.uk an acceptable obit source? -

That Broncos-Ravens game will probably end up being more entertaining than the Super Bowl, and the 49ers-Packers game was exciting as well. As a Seahawks fan, I anxiously await tomorrow. Well despite putting up the most entertaining game of the year, my team lost due to Pete Carroll's dumb as fuck attempt to Ice the Kicker. I will now root for the Ravens. Still, the Seahawks are the youngest team in the league and get better every game. Get ready for the Seattle Seahawks to dominate next year and for a while after that. -

I had no idea I was "Rookie of the Year 2012" so that was a nice surprise.

At least this one didn't have any deaths. Also, the shooter was talked down by a teacher after hitting only one student. Proof we don't need fucking armed guards in schools. -

Just beat me. Chavez has a "severe" lung infection, which has caused respiratory failure. http://www.cnn.com/2013/01/03/world/americas/venezuela-chavez-health/index.html?c=homepage-t Combine it with an already weakened immune system from cancer, and he's a goner.

Renowned Mountaineers, Feeling Peaky?
angryGreatness replied to Tempus Fugit's topic in DeathList Forum
Ian McKeever, Irish mountaineer who had climbed the Seven Summits, has died attempting to climb Mount Kilamanjaro at the age of 42. Out of all the ways to die on a mountain, McKeever was struck by lightning. http://m.rte.ie/news/touch//2013/0102/kilimanjaro-tanzania-death.html -
