Forum popularity seems to have increased in the last month or so. There are quite a few executioners around now. On a semi-related note, I spotted that a "Super-Moderator" on another forum has racked up over 8000 posts.
-
50, IIRC; and 100 for Executioner!

I'm sure a transcription of the Brady Bunch theme lyrics would have been shorter! Not much more to add really. I think they did get a showing at some point in the UK, but I'm happy to report I haven't come across one for a while. Idealized neo-conservative smaltz.

Is there an echo in here?

Deathlist 2005! Success Poll
Larry Pestilence III replied to weatherman90's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Oh Weatherman. "My bad"?! Go and stand in the corner and pay more attention to your grammar in the future! On another note, can you silently edit Polls? -
Erm. 12th nomination in 2005. 13th nomination in 2006. 14th nomination in 2007. 15th nomination in 2008. Sorry for the pedantry. I think he'll meet St. Pete before then though.

Before my time (and I never watched the C4 repeats). I do remember that that plotline featured in a particularly cheesy Buck Rogers episode. Cheesy enough for me to recognize it was cheesy at the age of seven or so. :cheese:
-
That's a kind description.

You mean there are places outside of Britain? LP3. I like that. Reminds me of ID4 and other cheesy movie acroynms.
-
All of which explain why he never made it big in Britain...

I agree with your sentiments. Hard as it may seem, I think he's worse than Dubya. Fortunately, I'm not sure if Cheney's heart would stand the shock. Who's Leader of the House of Representatives? -
Article in the Mail* today that Maradona has finally admitted (in an interview to a Swedish paper) that he deliberately handed the ball in that infamous match. Apparently he wanted a clean conscience before shaking the hand of God. So looks like he doesn't think much of his own chances of living much longer... Nothing on the Beeb, but I did find the Diego Maradona Timeline. * I didn't buy this, nor would I ever consider doing so.

Long Shot: Robert Kilroy Silk
Larry Pestilence III replied to Stayin Alive's topic in DeathList Forum
And they'd be spot on. Kilroy-Silk is an egotistical <insert your profanity here>. (IMHO of course). -
True. Didn't he stun America by opposing the Vietnam war? (or was it something else?).
-
Royalty has always had ways and means of bringing in fresh blood. Anyone here believe that Harry isn't Hewitt's? Conversely, anyone believe that Harry is Charles'?

Agreed, but if anyone has any information to the contrary, please let us know. :hex: Hmm. Note to Administators. Please enable a :hex: Smilie. -
Does this forum's software have the ability to filter out rants, particularly those intended for us not to read?
-
Which reminds me. I must buy the Fawlty Towers DVD.
-
Don't mention the war.

[edit] Ahh. Magic log. Weatherman. Ahh. [/edit]

If only. My father (Lawrence J. Pestilence II) was the member and took me along. No comment. Tee hee.

Beat me to the translation... The (missed) point is "Max Schmeling - Hitler's Boxer or maybe not?". Without this website and forum I would never have read about Max Schmeling and his very impressive and courageous deeds... Sigh.

Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2005
Larry Pestilence III replied to The Yeti's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Of course you did. -
I once heard Patrick Moore speak at a businessman's club event when I was 14. Seemed nice enough (signed autograph etc.), but I never did take up his offer to visit him in Selsey, ahem, to see his "telescopes".
