Deathlist 2005! Success Poll

Masterful. LOL. -
Quite, perhaps with the exception of Mark Thatcher (from his prison cell).

Jame(s) Doohan. Engineer?! Was he before he started acting? Not that I'm sensitive about such things you'll understand!
-
Cool. Cheers GR. I was, however, kind of hoping that Mrs. T. would be in the missing ten, right up there with her buddy Pinochet.

Retain his title? That'll be a no then... The Viking out. -
What happened to 2005 numbers 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 16, 17, 19, 23 and 50?!

Here. Regards, Larry.

Off the coast of Oregon?

Wow. Go Harry!

Too true. We in the UK were inflicted with the full force of Tory-boy (and future Tory leader/election-loser) William Hague at 15.

Not all of the time, apparently.

The circus is just sooo passé these days.

Renata Tebaldi (opera singer).

It would be a very satisfactory way to round off the year - on a number of levels.

Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2004

Priceless. And now in this Forum's README sticky. -
Wouldn't surprise me if Gerald Ford passes away uneventfully this Christmas, wholly consistent with the "vivid grey" observation. You know - it'll get reported on one of those those shortened Christmas news bulletins where he won't get more than 30 seconds and no-one will notice 'cos they're all tanked up with festive cheer anyway. Which is a shame because (unless I've missed something) he's genuinely well-liked. His appearance on the Simpsons was deliberately in keeping with his grey, but harmless image. The perfect next-door neighbour.

I'm not really sure he was really ever alive really.

This thread is a little past its sell-by date, but I had to comment on the fantastic photo of Red on the DeathLine. It takes a lot to do his larger-than-life life justice, but the photo says more than many, many, words ever could (though the Texan joke above is pretty good!). Great find. Was it a publicity shot? Whatever, a great way to be remembered. So long Red. The world needs more heroes.

How many Rose Kennedys are there? (seeing as the Death List notched off, erm, Rose Kennedy in 1995). My knowledge of the Kennedys is a little flaky...

Good work! LOL

Boom boom! Great Sunday afternoon film though. Well worth waiting for. Saw Sir John on the TV the other day. Very scary beard and looks much worse than I've seen him for some time. Larry.

It'll have to be. After 11 appearances, he's like a set of lottery numbers you've used since the damn thing started and daren't change*. This Pope's on the list until he drops... Larry. * I don't subscribe to this, of course. I can, however, recommend a marvellous system under which the participant is guaranteed to win a pound every week.

Just so long as it's not the panto horse.

Yep, and at an average age of just over 93 this year. Should be noted for the 2005 list. Also, 10/11 were in the top 25...
