Jason Leffler (a sometime regular in the NASCAR series) won't be making any more Left Turns. http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/NASCAR-Driver-in-Critical-After-Crash-at-Local-Speedway-211313661.html His last race in the Sprint Cup was only this past weekend.

Lisa Lopes & Ginger Rogers are 2 of mine, as is this: 1981 Dixie, a mouse who lived 6 years, dies! But then I share my birthday with Al Pacino amongst others so I think that's a bit cooler!

Yeah, hurry up the drinking Gazza.... I need strike 3 on my pokey little list for 2012. Thanks

I believe there's a lot more to his life story than that, I have a recollection of something about a bus accident and another witness of a murder, there was talk of a book/film a few years back. Perhaps it's too grim & dirty for even Hollywood to dress up. Unlike Mickey Ward in The Fighter, this story was never going to have a (relatively) happy ending.

I prefer the term "Dead Heat".

Given the way John Terry thinks all the teams WAGs are fair game, there's a chance we only need him to get it for it to become a Chelsea epidemic....... not sure how Ashley Cole will get it, so let's hope he gets a ripped sphincter.

Not so much of an Ill Communication & more of a Death Communication.

Champions League Final 05 will always be a special game, of that there's no doubt. But I actually preferred both the Uefa 2001 final vs Alaves, 5-4, red cards, penalties, comebacks, a last minute equaliser, golden Own Goal in Extra Time, that game probably had it all - plus everyone said it was going to be very boring! Or the other one would be the 2006 FA Cup final, after a boring 25 minutes, the Carragher calamity opened it up. But my personal call would be Liverpool 4 Newcastle 3 in 1996. That was just 2 teams going for a slug fest, end to end all game, with the last minute clincher. Just brilliant. Reading vs Bolton in a play off final was good for the neutral - though not the Reading fans, same as Gillingham vs Man City. I consider Tuesdays game to be riveting, tense & nail biting, but not edge of the seat exciting, just my personal opinion of course!

Good tactical, battling performance from Chelsea, naive tactically from Barca in both legs. To make a strategy like that work, you need to ride your luck a little and fair play to Chelsea, they did it. Can't say they didn't deserve it overall either. As for the best game ever, that's a real stretch imo. I doubt many neutrals really count that on their all-time top 10 greatest games. Wish I'd followed my instinct about 2 months ago and put $$$ on Real beating Chelsea in the final - Mourinho's final "fuck you" to Abramovich! Of course, Real have to get there, but I think they probably will.

Typical fucking Daily Mail, must have been a slow news day cos this is originally news from back in February..... I'm sure someone who can be bothered will do a search. But a quick scan of the comments shows it's a rehash. Taxi for the editors, and DVB can have his own version -->

Doubt the FLS will be there to watch for anyone next year. No great loss tbh Well done to Reading. One of the few clubs no one particularly hates, as far as I can tell. Good to see them up there again, and under a great manager in Brian McDermott Recalls a song on the Aldershot terraces way back that went : "My old man said be a Reading fan, I said "fuck off, bollocks you're a cunt!" So I think it's safe to say Aldershot don't like Reading.... (and they don't like audiobooks either - boom boom!) Having said that, in between songs bitching about the IRA, the list of clubs they "hate" is quite immense... Reading, Woking, Farnborough, Exeter, Leighton, Brighton, Any team with Graham Westley etc etc.

Well that's definitely the case now! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17473207

He's probably wrapped up in a nice bombvest waiting for the inevitable assault on whichever room he's barricaded in. Hoping to take out a few more frenchies. Having said that, by the content of the reports I've read, it seems French Intelligence were fully aware of him and actually may have had him under surveillance. Which would put them on a par with Pakistan for "turning a blind eye".

Waiting for the rain to clear, (in the vain hope of shutting Michael Waltrip up) at Daytona and the announcers happened to mention that Ned Jarrett, Ken Squier & Barney Hall - well known in Nascar circles- were all absent from the race this weekend due to health issues. Certainly with Jarrett, it could be one for the radar (though unlikely to get a UK obit imo).

In another blow (lol!) to the world's economic woes, Columbia has announced that 1st quarter profits will be substantially lower than expected due to unforseen events. Following on from last years exports to the UK showing a drop from July onwards, this year the US has seen a sharp downturn in sales of Columbias top export. Shareholders are hopeful however that continued streamlining of Mexican competitors could see additional opportunities within that country to expand current projects.

Given Sean Penn seems intent on siding with Argentina & referring to The Falkland Islands as The Malvinas is there hope that a squaddie with PTSD could shoot the cunt in the face with an anti-tank missile? Hoping to see Mr Penn state that America is guilty of colonialism as well and insist they return the stolen lands to the Native Americans....... At least we let the Falkland Islanders have a free vote on whether they want to be drinking tea or greasy cheats!

It's 54 years since a plane containing Manchester United players and others slapped the ground in Munich and gave Chelsea fans a chance to demonstrate their amazing "wit" and songwriting ability.

Yeh, we have to do that over and over because you NEVER FUCKING LISTEN If you started a sentence off with "Beer, Football or Sex" then you'd always get our attention.... maybe not beyond those 4 words, but we'd be showing some awareness that you're actually in the room!

Those In Favour Of Forcefully Annexing Portsmouth To Greenland Or Elsewhere
MightyMoose replied to Monoclinic's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Judging by the comments in his trial, Twitchy Redknapp has already begun with making Portsmouth a tax dodge haven with assistance from Monaco & Serbia. -
Wife had the SAG awards on last night, Dick Van Dyke (or "what is left of him" - his own words) wombled on stage - and got a huge standing ovation- to present a Lifetime Achievement award to Mary Tyler Moore. I've heard a few stories about her being on the way out, so took notice of the fact she was "placed" on stage during the video segment and then at the conclusion of her rambling speech - which sounded quite a farewell to me - they zipped off for a word from the sponsors. DVD may well see out the year, MTM won't imo, she looked & sounded extremely frail.

You ain't the voice of doom, you're the voice of a worthless troll whose life would have been more valuable had you been a blow job. It's the 1st of January and you're talking about "first indications are that 2012 is going to be another dud.....". You are a grade A cunting cuntstain!
