I played the violin (badly) in primary school and played the E flat bass in the brass band at secondary school where we came second in the all Dundee schools competition, I also played bugle when in the Boys Brigade. All this was 45+ years ago and I doubt very much if I could pick any of these instruments up now and play them to any extent other than a noise.

That's just like when the weatherman says there is a 50% chance of rain, all it means is that either he will have something wrong or he wont.

As I only saw it yesterday and could not see it posted on here, I took it that this corner of the world had not seen it. Anyone that resorts to swearing at the start of a post can, under no circumstances be considered 'clever or intelligent'. -

Do we celebrate the death of a terrorist or mourn the passing of a politician? I know which I am doing. -
That did it, Thanks

That is what I used to do but the option is no longer available to me, the toolbar on my edit page has been a bit tuncated with only some of the buttons showing, it actually stops at the 'insert numbered list' button, even the 'strike through' button is not there

I must have missed the memo, how do you change the colour of the text in signatures now? I can't see an option.

If you take out the votes that were for the SNP rather than to actually Remain in the EU then you will find that Scotland voted strongly in favour of Leaving.

I believe that she has a recorded interview to be aired on the Evans breakfast show on Radio 2

This time when they lose the fish should slit their gills and flap about the floor until they bleed to death. Just like they have done to Scotland for the last 5 years with their single policy.

I eat curry regularly and can tell you that the easiest way to avoid the stains is to put the curry in your mouth and not to drool it all down your shirt. -

Billy McNeill the first Briton to lift the European Cup is now unable to speak because of his dementia. Nothing said about how ill he actually is but at 76 and in said state, might be a good bet for next year.
