I baked some porridge oats biscuits today and celebrated Burns Night with them, I was never a whisky drinker and as I stopped drinking alcohol some 28+ years ago I washed them down with some plain tap water. I had haggis last week and have none left in the house but being a true Scot I will buy some more tomorrow when they have reduced it in price to clear the shelf

The trouble is that they are the kind of people that put themselves forward for election in the first place so it ends up being them that rise to the top as all the 'good' candidates are off someplace doing 'good' work and don't have enough time to dedicate to getting elected to high office.

Tell folk in their seventies things are going to be a certain way then the next day tell them that things will not be that way after all and the resulting confusion could kill some of them. Someone should lose their head over this and they should be as high up the gravy tree as you can get.

I know you have to ask but yes I am posting properly and have seen the post on the thread as soon as i have posted it but on returning some time later it has gone, I talk about the above post on this thread and also a previous one on this thread last week, both were there and showing on the main index as being the most recent on the board but were gone when I returned later the same day. They are vaccinating the wrong people, the old are in danger of dying but it is not them that are keeping the virus moving and that is what needs to be stopped. There must be records from all the testing that is going on about which age group is more likely to test positive, they are the ones that need the vaccination first so that they don't catch it and transfer it.

It is the wrong age group that is dying, if it were the 20-40 group, this thing would have been over by now. For my own preference, I would rather it were the under 20 group that was doing all the dying, hopefully the next time they make up one of these virus things, it will target the correct group but I will probably be gone by then so I will miss all the fun.

In my youth and still to a certain extent, 'mingin' was to be dirty/smelly but it has sadly fallen out of use and only coined by those from certain areas and of a certain age.
