The 10cc track is clever and subversive. If I do lose out I hope their next appearance will be better appreciated -

There is a motorsport thread -
New Here And Just Saying Hello

I would prefer it if you could name a specific sport that you do not think is covered because if there is a "sport" thread then it will lead to ambiguity whether the sports that have their own threads should be double posted The one that might justify its own thread and as far as I can see is not already covered would be Track and Field athletics but this would overlap somewhat with the Summer Olympics thread -

Which sports do you think would need to be included? You may find some hostility towards creating what some may consider to be unnecessary threads -

There are quite a few for specific sports such as Football, Baseball, cricket, Rugby and even sailing. There is also a thread for Olympic medal winners. If you are in doubt where to put something then the Dead of 2022 for people who are actually dead or Ideas and Possibilities for people where new health information has come to light. In each case someone will soon come along and helpfully identify which thread might be most appropriate -

Slade are very much of their time and were very popular but their songs do not have the staying power or classic status that some of the other songs that reached No.1 have. Westlife had a lot of No.1's in the 90s but I hardly ever hear them played now The exception is possible Merry X-Mas Everybody but that is not as good as I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday -
I was living in Cheltenham in 1992 and voted for him at my first general election. Briefly met him during the campaign and shook his hand when Paddy Ashdown came to Cheltenham for a rally. That was the election where there was a huge argument surrounding the Conservative candidate but they tried to indicate that this diminished the LD victory but it ignored the fact that they had only held the seat previously because of loyalty to the sitting MP. Most of the council seats in the town were LD

So in 2022 we have lost three original cast members of Eastenders in Leonard Fenton, June Brown and Bill Treacher - who should be worried?
-
David Butler is an actual hit for me here
-
Me too including a wildcard

So an update of the graphs to take account of the two quick hits on the list In 2020 there were still five hits to be had even though we were two hits further on at this point Most years there is at least one

Leslie Phillips is a big one here selected by three players @ThereWillBeDeaths7 @Grim Up North get a first hit but more significantly @En Passant moves into a winning position. So Lee Montague joins Lesley Parrish as a potential game ender
