A huge hit for you. Only your second hit of the game but you have gone from one hit to a position where any one of eleven picks will win it for you to get the three uniques The winning picks list now is up to 30 and looks like 1. Six out of the ten are from the bottom half of the top 50 and half of all the hits are first time appearances. All three of the positions 48-50 have now fallen David Graham is in position 47!!!!
-
Indeed a fifth film moves onto its first hit following the demise of Joe Turkel and it is @Ulitzer95 with Paths of Glory who benefits
-
I am going to admit that Peter Brook is a big miss for me I have played him previously in the DDP and on the Shadow List Mona Hammond I had on my database as being two years younger than her reported age of death and while Elizabeth Kelly was still alive she wasn't really going to get much of a look in
-
Suzie Steiner was my Wildcard and tenth hit
-
Congrats @MariNisia you now have a three point lead. One quarter of all the hits have been yours. Can you be caught? 1922 Rachel Robinson/John B Goodenough 1923 Gloria Whelan/ Ned Rorem 1924 Priscilla Pointer/Sheldon Harnick 1925 Ysanne Churchman/Pete Murray 1926 Georgia Holt/Timothy Dudley-Smith 1927 Leontyne Price/Kenneth Anger 1928 Queen Ratna of Nepal/Jean Marie Le Pen 1929 Imelda Marcos/John Woodvine 1930 Edna O'Brien/Bill Treacher 1931 Leslie Caron/Ken Bates

I apply the 50% rule and I give priority to unique picks. I probably have him somewhere else

If he goes in the near future he would end the current Scavenger Hunt game

Just a thought about Chris Pincher. Do you think he has been treated differently because his victims are male? Are the MPs who would behave in the same way towards woman who don't get called out? -
I was not aware of the discrepancy. You are the first player to point it out three months after the hit. At the moment I am not going to remove the hit but if @DoorSlammer was closer to the top of the leaderboard it might be different but thank you for raising this.

Stagecoach!!!! Just dropped the car at the garage. Walked to the bus stop and saw there was a bus in 10 mins. Checked the app. Bus cancelled next one 30 minutes later. I only use the bus about half a dozen times a year and each time I do I realise why

Bob Harris on Twitter saying he is cancer free

I think it is what he would have wanted. In life he raised money for valued public servants in the NHS and now he provides opportunities for other public servants such as auditors, lawyers and law enforcement agents. As well as providing employment opportunities for investigative journalists

You only need five hits to catch the leader and there have been 22 so far this year All are welcome here
-
Both my successes have depended on getting in quick with the flavour of the month. I did feel a bit bad about picking Deborah James as she would not be my normal sort of pick but Sir Anthony Sher was absolutely someone who would have been on my radar
-
Not bad adding a third place finish here to my advent avalanche title

I normally do a preliminary list around the middle of the year. There will be opportunities to include late diagnosis as there will potentially be obvious fallers but I am playing the long game My thought about QEII is that she looks extremely well she has referred to a few mobility issues but she is regularly seen looking healthy and happy. Considering how long DoE lurched round looking like a corpse I am thinking that the only reason I would keep her on was the sheer fact of too big to miss and that is a risk I am going to take
-
Because not a lot is going on I drafted my 2023 preliminary list QEII has not made the cut

Congratualtions to @chilean way up to three hits now 1922 Rachel Robinson/John B Goodenough 1923 Gloria Whelan/ Ned Rorem 1924 Priscilla Pointer/Sheldon Harnick 1925 Ysanne Churchman/Pete Murray 1926 Georgia Holt/Timothy Dudley-Smith 1927 Leontyne Price/Kenneth Anger 1928 Queen Ratna of Nepal/Jean Marie Le Pen 1929 Imelda Marcos/John Woodvine 1930 Edna O'Brien/Bill Treacher 1931 Leslie Caron/Ken Bates

A few years ago the Tolkien Calendar used her Lord of the Rings Art -
On the years that have been included on my graph. The latest date for a fifth hit was 6th August in 2014. However the latest date for a sixth hit goes out to 7th December in 2011 when there were only 7 hits
-
Indeed Frank Williams is a hit for @Handrejka for another wonderfully British film One of Our Dinosaurs is Missing Who will be first to 2?
-
One of those names that could so easily have ended up on the DL particularly because of the affection for Clive Dunn but he kept popping up at events associated with Dad's Army so I think most people thought he had a couple more years

Tomorrow will be 82 days since the last hit which was the length of time between the second and third hits. So if this is a pattern we are due a pair of hits any day Last summer we had a gap of 151 days between hits 7 & 8 April to September
