Authors Last A Long Time, But....
Bibliogryphon replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Never been a massive fan of her work (thankfully my daughter rejected her friends Tracy Beaker obsessions) but she is always good value on the interview circuit. She is a big figure in Children's literature and I probably need to get her on my theme team -
Jean Marie Le Pen

The Duvalls in the detail....

I feel sorry for anyone called Robert born in 1931

After a brief trawl of IMDB and Wikipedia I can find only two surviving actors who have played an onscreen husband to Penelope Keith they are William Gaunt (Next of Kin) and Christopher Villiers (Sweet Sixteen) Very often she plays widows or spinsters Mark your cards
-
Frank O'Farrell was a hit for me here
-
William Gaunt needs to be wary now as Penelope Keith outlives another of her on screen husbands
-
First of that group to go though....

Indeed @chilean way gets a third hit overall each one in a separate category and a first unique which means if their next hit is a unique in Olympians or Cabinet Ministers then they will be potentially be one hit away from victory in two separate ways Puts more pressure on the three players who are one hit from victory

The trial of Wakefield MP Imran Ahman Khan (Con) for sexual assault of a 15 year old boy begins on 28th March If found guilty a custodial sentence of greater than 12 months triggers a by-election but one less than 12 months could trigger a recall petition Labour are already sounding out potential candidates according to Labour List

If you type the @ symbol and the the poster's name a menu should appear. I used to have problems with it on my old phone but it has been better with my new one

Apologies On the Scoreboard you have been given the hit and the statement I made applies to your hit rate. I just picked the wrong tag. My bad as they say.
-
As there have been no dissenting voices points will be awarded. @An Fear Beag gets a third hit spread across two categories and @BuffaloPhil & @msc both gain their third hit in this category being their seventh and sixth hits overall respectively which means that BP stays just that short step ahead by virtue of his unique and extra hit. This should be a warning though on the obscure pick routes delayed obits can potentially be as fatal as no obits at all

It would be interesting to note tge length of time between The Queen Mother's last appearance in public and her final demise.

I am inclined to permit this as a hit for the following reasons: 1. The is no evidence that any of those that selected this pick were aware of the status 2. All the due diligence I did at the beginning of the game indicated that they were still alive 3. There was no challenge during the challenge period 4. This is not a unique pick 5. Two of the points recipients are currently in winning positions anyway but this does not immediately increase their winning combinations. 6. The other possible resolutions are potentially very messy or may disproportionately disadvantage one or more players. I will not award the points until tomorrow on the off chance Norman Tebbit comes off his bike a saves me from making a call. If you agree then like react this post if you disagree sad react this post. Comments welcome

Top marks to the RSC for the flyer for their up coming production of Richard III -
Ben Elton was someone I considered. Really loved his early stand up work, novels and The Thin Blue Line/Blackadder

My interest in sport is very passive Might consider a cricketer but there were none even on my shortlist

He was the Taxman in the Red Dwarf episode Better Than Life

I thought misleading the house (lying) has always been a resigning matter -
There is an authors thread. He looks sufficiently healthy not to require his own thread. I would put money on him in a fight against Philip Pullman or Raymond Briggs

I was watching an old Celebrity Pointless on iplayer and one of the jackpot topics was cast members of the 1978 film Watership Down. That was an absolute sitter but the celebs who were on clearly did not frequent this site

I sat next to a lad at work who was covering maternity leave for an admin post. He had a Sports Science degree but if you said something that failed to register on his personal radar he would instantly Google them and tell you he had never heard of them. When Paddy Ashdown died I told him how I had met him during the 1992 election campaign and my hand appeared on Newsnight. He just looked at me blankly and turned to Google and said I have never heard of him. To be fair he was only born in 1995

Not sure she will gain much traction until after Patricia Routledge goes
