https://www.express.co.uk/life-style/health/1501901/michael-palin-health-heart-scare-mitral-valve-symptoms Although this could be argued that this story might push his inclusion further into the future because he has taken medical advice -
Photo from Sky News saying it is today. She does not look 95 in that photo

I think we are extrapolating from a very poor data set. However the fact that this is the most active thread at the moment means that in terms of interest and public recognition her "fame" test outstrips her "ill" test. I think she will survive 2022 and probably won't add her to my personal shadow list unless there is a lot of people who will die between now and the New Year but I now think she is a permanent fixture on the main list until her demise

The two previous cases where children of long lived monarchs succeeded their parents (George IV & Edward VII) both only ruled for 10 years. Do we even think Charles will make that?

I think this speculation is just a prologue. I can't image a severe illness will have come out of nowhere for the woman who probably has some of the best medical care available. Let us reserve judgement until Remembrance Sunday when we are told she will be attending

Terry Pratchett felt like a punch in the stomach. I had just arrived at my hotel in Vietnam after a long flight (not business class) and this was the first thing to hit me Terrence Dicks was a very sad one as well But every time I see Tom Baker trending I am apprehensive -

Yes it did come across as harsh but I have no issue with Tom himself but the huge Tom bandwagon was a little nauseating. Unfortunately I do think Michael Palin will be the next Python to go. As far as I can see Maggie Smith and Judy Dench are both still active and she was really included as the type of person who might be suitable. Patricia Routledge may have been a better example. I think it will be sad when Cribbins goes but the sheer hard work of the man like when John Hurt went and you started thinking about the sheer volume of things he had been in. His body of work will be a cause of celebration. After his wife died someone on Twitter who knows him did mention to him about all the messages of goodwill that had been expressed and he thanked everyone and hoped they would all send him a fiver. So he still has his sense of humour. He is a national treasure and probably deserves a knighthood. -

I was actually thinking about this. Now that Sutcliffe and Brady have gone who are the real bogey 'men' of the British Prison system Only Rose West springs to mind as having the cultural impact we would be looking for. Eventually Ian Huntley might get there but at the moment he is just a punt for DDP players who think he might have an 'accident' -

How do you even categorize Tom Moore? Overhyped nobody who just managed to assuage the guilt of the right wing press about continued under funding of the NHS? As he was in the #50 position I thought that could be a wildcard position and fill it with a useful opportunistic pick However your comments on Bernard Cribbins make me hark back to the days when the #50 slot belonged to Clive Dunn and I think it should be for a National Treasure who we are too scared to drop. Obviously Cribbins fits that bill but Johnny Ball, Gudrun Ure, Michael Palin or Maggie Smith would all equally do -
She has a weekly meeting with Boris Johnson so she has probably already spotted the signs in herself Nothing he is saying makes any sense

But it is an intellectual exercise and I have already been schooled in the credentials of a number of people who were not previously on my radar who probably should be but there are plenty of other outlets for our ideas including the Crowdsourced Deathlist -
OK he is not remotely dead or ill but I have just seen a clip on Twitter of former Undertones front man Fergal Sharkey being interviews on Telly because he now campaigns on clean rivers It took me two glances to work out it was him. He looked like a cross between Ray Reardon and a spoof Landowner in a Harry Enfield sketch he was even wearing a three piece tweed suit. It is a long way from anoraks and Teenage Kicks

At this time you are the only person who is within one hit of winning and all that stand between you and victory is any one of five elderly politicians of whom Nigel Lawson is the youngest By the way - Happy Birthday to Bill Rodgers 93 today -

So far in the 20 categories we have not yet had a duplicate Naturally Doctor Who was a category in the opening game I will accept repeated categories though probably not from the just completed game -

Glad to see the defence of the inclusion and to put them into some context but in a list like the one above they are names I did not recognise. I understand why with Fontaine and Gehry but I accept that I should have known Kunedra. Still less famous than Stanley Baxter who needs to be in next year to have a race off with Her Majesty -

If you win you get all five - so why not I suspect the US posters might gulp a little at trying to understand the difference between Union & League
